"Room was good, clean. Beds were comfortable. Hallway carpets could use an upgrade. The buildings weren’t as quiet as expected. Staff was very accommodating."
"The staff was friendly. Room was super clean. Very conveniently located since the Lodge is only 10-15 minutes from the Grand Canyon Visitors Center. "
"Hotel is centrally located within minutes of Grand Canyon. They have a restraint that serves breakfast if you’d like. They also are centrally located around all the restraurants in town. Room was clean. Staff was very kind. The one bad thing is that they did not have WiFi and the service in the area is not good. "
"We had a 2 queen room and it was very spacious and clean. The breakfast is very basic but serves its purpose. Staff was very expedient in clearing tables and making room for more guests. Great location outside of Grand Canyon park. Nice to have a jacuzzi to soak in after the long walks and mule ride but strong smell of chlorine since it was indoors. Great places to eat nearby. We enjoyed getting takeout at Foodie Club and taking it with us to watch the sunset at Lipan Point."
"They don't clean their rooms daily unless you ask and even then they do so reluctantly and not complete. Dirty mugs left for 3 days, ice bucket left with melted ice for 3 days. They need to remember that they are a hotel and not try to lower the bar on what it means to stay in a hotel. Too bad because the hotel is nice and has potential."
"The whole hotel was great. It had that old hunting l9dge, Teddy Roosevelt feeling. Everything was very clean and inviting. The staff were all super nice and helpful. We had one issue that required maintenance and it was fixed very quickly. You meed to book for breakfast and diner as soon as you can since those fill up quickly. We were only able to get breakfast. The food was very good and service was on point. The view of the canyon while you eat cannot be beat. Definitely would recommend staying here."
"We loved our canyon view room. There was also a very nice game room with a real comfy sofas that you could look out and see the canyon on cool mornings. It was very close to everything. The rim had to offer. We were very happy. And the room was excellent clean the beds, comfy. The only thing I could ask for maybe different was a microwave but in the big scheme of things it was great."
