So i normally don’t write reviews however, this was the most complicated hotel i’ve ever stayed at. I booked online through expedia, we show up to the hotel at 2:45 in the morning to check in, itinerary and everything sent to my phone but for some reason the hotel couldn’t find us. now that’s fine i understand complications happen but we kept telling her we have the itinerary but she said she needed it on the computer. it took us 1 hour and some change before we could get into our room, speaking to the chick behind the desk multiple phone calls and text to help chats to get our itinerary sent to the hotel when finally I just showed her the itinerary on my phone and that was all she needed to see. the beds are SUPER starchy so don’t be surprised if you wake up face and sinus’s swollen. and although we were only there until 11:30/12 i’d say about every other hour someone knocked on the door. this is an absolute last resort we have no where else to go hotel

Not very clean (e.g. bandaid on the floor in my room). The whole hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was a joke. I got a lunch bag with an orange juice. Granola bar, and a pop tart. Stayed for 5 days, absolutely no one came to clean my room. Staff was friendly. Only reason I stayed was because I needed to be close to the marina down the street.

Between check-in and returning from dinner, the bed had been used, rumpled, and a half full glass of beer was left on the bedside table. What do you want to bet that it was a couple of employees or that a regular user brought a john in?

Smoke and mirrors!

Hotel property charged me for room after I paid online with Hotels.com. I notified Surestay and Hotels.com. Room itself had a strong cigarette odor. Normally not the level of hotel I would stay in, but I was helping out a family member with two small children. They were happy to have a roof over their head for the night and wouldn't let me change hotels.

Say a dead roach in bathroom, not enough towels. And on my last day before checkout. Went to the front desk. And the lady was on her cell phone and ignored me.

Meager effort that failed.

This hotel seems to have had a recent renovation and it looks good. However some aspects of the remodeling seem to have been overlooked. There are simply not enough electrical outlets in the room and of the outlets that are there, many are blocked by unmovable furniture. These rooms seem to be stuck in the 1980’s. Internet access is very slow to the point of being worthless. Signal strength even in the corridors was poor, the most strength I was able to get was two signal bars using up to date Apple devices. Router signals in the rooms was virtually non existent and could never be considered usable for any business application; forget even thinking about watching a movie online. Management had the appearance of being helpful but the veneer of good service was thin and seemed a poor cover for elitism, greed and racism. There was never any sincere effort made to help, even in the simplest was such as an extra foam cup or coffee creamer. There are irritating aspects of this property; the backdoor of this long building had no keycard access so that even during the day I had to always walk to the front of this building to get in. A simple keycard accessible lock on the back door would have made a huge difference. Breakfast was the most basic of carbohydrate meal consisting of stale mini donuts and watered down juice. Milk was not spoiled, but the date on the only jug was three days after the expiration date and didn’t give me comfort.

I was offput by several things. The bum laughing in my face as I'm walking in to check in. Bugging for cigarettes as I go back to my car to get my things. The hotel staff was rude as hell regarding their juice machine and what time they turn it on, making me have to go to the store at 6:30am dying of thirst. Other than that incredibly friendly even called my room right at 7 to tell me breakfast was starting, I guess to attempt to make up for it...overall you get what you pay for here...probably won't return due to overall uncomfortability.

Okay...for sleeping

It's not the most glamorous hotel. It wasn't as expensive as some of the other locations, which was good, otherwise, I would have been disappointed. I had a non-smoking room, but the room, bathroom, carpet, and bed, smelled of stale smoke. In addition, there were cigarette burns on the night table, so I knew that the advertising was false. The rooms are inside of the building which was helpful because that provides a level of safety. There were some shady characters sitting around in the lobby when I got there, but the front desk person was very friendly and courteous. Believe it or not, sometimes good customer service can be a nice balance to a suboptimal situation. The wi-fi was dreadful to the point of being nonexistent. I suggest that they pay a network engineer to set it up correctly. They had a separate router for each floor, which meant separate passwords. In addition, due to the weakness of the router, at the end of the hallways, there was NO wi-fi signal at all. This isn't acceptable. If you advertise wi-fi, then it should be available for any room. If you just need somewhere to sleep, this might do. If you're on vacation, with no wi-fi, and needing some upgrades, I would pass. This isn't the type of hotel that you want to sit around in any longer than you need to. Like I said though, the front desk lady was very nice, and that made my stay a lot more tolerable than it otherwise would have been.

Old, extremely uncomfortable mattress despite two mattress toppers on it. I unzipped the mattress cover to see how old it was, tag was removed. Filthy floor. Took multiple trips upstairs to get a non-smoking room w tub without a plug. Then front desk said none were available, use a wash cloth and they'd send more. Arrived with only a very small patial roll of toilet paper, front desk said they'd send more up, they didn't so I used the Kleenex. A weekly renter complex also offers discounted weekly rates, one of the weekly renters with their door open, management allows this. It was really loud despite being eight rooms away. The wifi I never worked for more than about 20 seconds at a time, front desk said they just installed all these new routers keep trying, or I could come to the front lobby and use the internet there. Eye exam in the hall and there is exactly one router on the second floor, it's near the front gu

We had to wait for about 5 minutes before we were greeted. Then they were on the phone the entire time we were at the counter, asked my name and then didn't speak to me again until they asked for payment. Internet was down when we got there and was down for several hours. The room seemed clean, but there was a smell like it hadn't been used for a while. Air con was stuck on 62. Took a bit to unstick that. They did not have a continental breakfast or offer any reason why they decided not to serve that day.

Great Hotel!

It looks like the hotel recently rebranded because it isn't called Premier Inn on the outside anymore. The rooms were clean and the front-desk looked nice. The price was great, and I was expecting the condition of the room/hotel to possibly be not that great, but I was pleasantly surprised (it looked great inside and it felt very clean)! I've stayed in maybe 6 hotels around Virginia Beach, and this one was the best value by far! I'd definitely go back again.

Everything was bad. Even customer service was horrible. Never got the general number to talk bout a refund because we did not even sleep at the hotel. The front desk didn’t even try to give it or call him when I was there for a refund, talkin bout we used the bed when we only used the bathroom cause their bathroom by the desk wasn’t workin

There was a roach stuck to the bathroom floor, there were sticky brown spots on the ceiling and walls, and the toilet was barely attached to the wall.

I didnt like at all first the name was wrong second they are only about making money and not satisfy the customers request its only and moltotally a diaster from what my expectations were dont recommend to anyone and do not book through Expedia they are worst
