「The Auberge de l’Abbatiale is a wonderful small family run hotel with excellent accommodation in a historic and very interesting building. Very friendly owner and staff. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Thoroughly recommended as a stop off point while travelling through France as it is located in a picturesque historic village fairly close to an exit on the A31 (13 km away). Half way between Calais and the south of France.」

「Prima, netjes en schoon. We waren op doorreis en waren heel tevreden. Door het pleintje en speeltuin en grasveld voor de deur konden onze kinderen nog even lekker spelen/voetballen. Ontbijt (vanaf 07:00) was minimaal, maar prima.」

「WOW!!!!! WHAT A PLACE, THE HOST WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND SPOKE GOOD ENGLISH. WE WERE ESCORTED TO OUR TREE HOUSE, 12m HIGH, UP SOME STEPS THEN A LADDER UP TO THE HOUSE. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, VERY QUIET AND RELAXING. WE GOT OUR EVENING MEAL DELIVERED TO THE HOUSE AND WE HAD TO PULL IT UP IN A BASKET! THE SAME FOR OUR CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. NO ELECTRICITY OR WASHING FACILITIES IN THE HOUSE, BUT HAD A DRY TOILET, WE WERE ALLOWED TO CHARGE UP OUR DEVICES IN THEIR PROPERTY! VERY WELCOMING, EVERY PROPERTY...

「We werden ontvangen door een erg vriendelijke en gastvrije dame. We mochten onze motoren veilig en droog onder de poort parkeren. We kregen fraaie kamers (studio’s) en het hotel heeft een prachtig interieur. Het ontbijt was ook voortreffelijk. Het stadje ademt vergane glorie uit, een kuuroord/“heilbad” omgeving uit het begin van de vorige eeuw. Maar ook dat heeft z’n charme. Zou met veel plezier hier nog eens overnachten. 」

「Absolutely beautiful and charming old town house steeped in history and amazing furniture and artefacts. The owners were so helpful and kind, allowing us to park our motorbikes in their courtyard. The area is so quiet and unspoilt, well worth a visit!」
