"This was truly a home away from home experience. The property itself is so tastefully renovated and has a true French country feeling. The owner and her family are so warm and friendly. They offered great suggestions for exploring the surrounding areas along with great places to dine in the evening. Every morning breakfast was presented in a true French style. "Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"Located in the centre of the old village of Autignac, the La Coquillade - Gite is a quaint group of accommodations around a courtyard with central swimming / plunge pool. Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". This was a cool spot where you could sit to avoid the extreme summer heat. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, the second "room" was only separated...

"The main house was absolutely beautiful! We stayed, however, in a beautiful, modern cabin across the courtyard but we had a fabulous breakfast in the dining room of the house. Next time, we will opt to stay in the main house because it is so beautiful and full of fabulous antiques. The host and hostess, Beatrice and Eric, were so friendly and welcoming. They welcomed our two little dogs who played with their puppy. We had a wonderful stay and will make a point to go back and stay longer."
