「Check in staff was nice and friendly. Got me extra glass and bowl to the room. During check in they called me at 11:30 while checkout on Expedia was listed as 12. The location is perfect. Close to train station. Most sightseeing in walking distance. However a lot of noise from neighboring rooms especially when they close door or move chairs around in the tile.」

「The Hotel d' Amphitheatre is in the perfect location in Nimes. Our 3 night stay was just what we needed and the breakfasts were excellent. It's an easy walk from the railway station, close to sites, restaurants, bars and shops. The building is old and does not have a lift but Olivier was always happy to help carrying bags to and from rooms. Nimes was our favourite place during our recent trip through France. We look forward to visiting again and will definitely stay at Hotel d' Amphitheatre.」

「This is a total hideaway very different and not at all the mass corporate market. Individual and exclusive is how I would describe it. They advertise and have a lovely spa which is an extra cost. They don't have a restaurant but do provide a small plates menu. Personally I loved it and the staff were exceptional.」

「Breakfast was lovely and the staff were helpful. The room was okay, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and there were signs requesting that you not shower with too hot of water "since it could set off the smoke alarm". There were no hand towels provided and no room cleaning, the sign in the room stated this was to reduce water usage which makes sense for new towels/ linens but not for a basic room clean/bed make-up.
