Great location, old town a short walk and next to Garibaldi Square with excellent restaurants. Very nice staff, large room with quirky furnishings and a great bathroom. Highly recommend.

Value for money central hotel

Excellent value for money, comfortable hotel in the centre of everything. Great location. Compact room but comfortable and clean. Quiet if you get an inner courtyard room - there are currently major roadworks going on so an inner room works best. Large comfortable bed. Friendly receptionists. I will stay here again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le G. Kamil and Daniel and the hotel cleaning staff were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. We arrived late and Kamil and Daniel proactively provided us with check-in instructions, including details on how to take the train from the Nice Airport. When we needed to stay an extra day, they graciously extended our stay without delay. The hotel was very clean, quiet and well supplied and we had everything we needed. The hotel is tastefully decorated and in very good condition. The bathroom is modern and everything was excellent, including very good water pressure. While the shower might seem small to people from North America, it's normal for Europe and it was completely fine. The room had plenty of space for my 15 year old son and I and we enjoyed our time here. The queen bed was larger than we expected and more comfortable than it appeared. The windows opened easily and allowed us to let fresh air in but the room was also temperature controlled by a mini-split system. The location is great with an easy walk to everything you might need. Le Café des Chineurs restaurant/bar connected to the hotel is great and lively. The Clay café around the corner was our favourite for brunch and Garabaldi and Roze in the plaza were excellent restaurants options too. We took the tram to most places but enjoyed walking around the area, down to the Promenade des Anlgais and generally exploring the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this hotel.

Such a perfect stay! Loved the location - very walkable and conveniently situated near all the main sites, beaches and restaurants we wanted to visit. Easy walk to the Nice Riquier station. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Air conditioning felt like a luxury during the recent heat wave. Really cute welcome gift too. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Loved this charming hotel in the heart of Nice's Old Town! The air conditioning was stellar, the hotel was charming, the bed and linens were great. I slept like a dream. The only challenge is the lack of an elevator, but the friendly and helpful staff were hugely helpful in terms of getting bags upstairs! Would definitely stay again.

Great place!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend staying here. You are close to everything-the Old Town, the promenade, great restaurants.. the staff (especially Daniel) were so incredibly kind and so welcoming. We would stay here again.

Good 3* experience in excellent location

Hotel G is a small and good 3 star hotel with an excellent location by Gabrialdi Sq., very close to everything - and easy transportation via Tram from and to the airport. The rooms are quite simple, but clean and with basic necessities - an upgrade on shampoo and especially conditioner (missing) would be fantastic ;-) The personal is very friendly and helpful!

The Hotel is warm, welcoming and definitely on the eccentric side (which we liked a lot)! The team who run it are very friendly and efficient. Altogether our visit was charming. Plus we enjoyed being near the old town of Nice. If we ever get to return, we'll certainly book this hotel again.
