Very dirty, old and hasn't been updated in many many years. The carpet was dirty. The room had a smell to it. The air conditioner hardly worked and it was HOT. Wasn't happy with our stay.

I was really stressed after reading the bad reviews because it was too late to change my reservation. In the end, I have nothing negative to say. The staff was very helpful, the entire room was VERY CLEAN, and there was no unpleasant smell like some mentioned about Indian restaurants. It was very quiet, and being able to walk to all the activities in Niagara Falls is a big plus to save on parking and transportation. THANK YOU :)

Our stay in Niagara was only for one night due to a concert, and it was an acceptable experience overall. The room was clean, which was a plus. However, we encountered a couple of issues: the microwave's power cord was cut, rendering it unusable, and we lost power during our stay (though I understand that's out of the hotel's control). Unfortunately, we did not receive any compensation for the power outage, while another guest at check-out seemed to receive a refund for their issue. Additionally, be aware that there is an extra parking fee upon arrival, although we appreciated being allowed to park for two extra hours after check-out.

Everything is great was awesome. Parking was a little difficult as the parking lot was not that big and needs to be organized a little better. But overall my two days there was good other than the morning of check out, we woke up with no power and really hot.

we planned to night stay but after few hours room was not cold and AC not working properly and it was very humid in the room . Shower not working properly. We are not happy there service and its waste of money . They dont pick up phone also . We tried so many times.

Great night spent at the Empress Inn! Yes it is a “two-star” hotel but all we wanted was a clean place to sleep and shower so it was perfect! Bed was comfortable, location was quiet, towels and bathroom were clean! The shower head kind of sprays all over the ceiling and gets on the floor but that’s more of a property issue than a customer issue! Great, budget friendly place to stay in Niagara, and so close to the Falls and Clifton Hill

Pros 24 hour front desk. Location lis excellent. We walked to Niagara Falls like 20 minute walk. Clifton hill 5 minute walk.Now them rooms hmm they ok I guess. Rm 303 stairs horrible to go up down a lot steps no elevator. Room setup cool. Oh WiFi here is horrible goes in and out.Amenities none but for price you not here fir that. The location so walkable. Skylon tower 10 -15 minute walk. Restaurants all around you. They never cleaned out room during our 3 night stay.

Didn’t like the service at all. We did a reservation and due to some reason we were not able to make it and tried to call them so many time to make some changes and even reached out to expedia to see the alternatives. They said will reach out to hotel for refund and do another booking. Nobody reached out to me and hotel front desk didn’t answer my calls. And without even staying there they deducted the money.

Should have taken a photo of the dead cockroaches in the stairwell! I booked with Expedia @ what was supposed to be 170$ per night tax included .. that was outrageous for this property and was charged tax on top of the 170 and it ended up costing me $412 for 2 nights for a dump! No breakfast.. no coffee in the room.. the chairs were too dirty to sit on.. but thankfully the sheets looked clean! Your 3 star rating is ridiculous! Also, I have never seen such a transparent toilet paper. I would Not recommend this place! It’s a tear down!
