Suites are incredibly large and comfortable. Staff is very accommodating. Large pools and plenty of places to lounge. Walking distance to everywhere!

This is our third time staying here. The staff was very pleasant each time. They have done a very nice job with the outside amenities. The inside kitchen cabinets could use a little "refresh", but overall very nice stay. It is a little bit farther down from the very busiest part of Thames Street, but we considered this a plus, and liked the quiet, particularly staying during the week and before peak season. Plenty of parking, and still quite walkable to many wonderful restaurants.

The middle number of the room number indicates which floor it is located on. None of our rooms are ground level. If you decide to book with us again if you call us directly with a floor request we are happy to accommodate you as long as we have it available

There was plenty of room for myself and my daughters. There should be a sign or something said to or provided to guests stating when quiet hours are as there were guests in the room above that were quite loud until after midnight and I couldn’t call the front desk until morning. Also there should be something provided to cook in the kitchen aside from the one pan with a lid that plugs into the wall. It was very difficult to cook in the room multiple things. It would’ve been better to have an actual oven or at least a stove top.

Hi Kelly,Thank you for taking the time to write a review and give feedback as well. On the welcome/key packet we have our quiet hours listed. We also have an answering service available after the front desk closes, as well as security overnights. Also we do have suites available with full kitchens equipped with ovens, but those are usually first to be booked due to families coming in on the weekends. I hope you choose to come back again soon. The room was nice, older fixtures in the room. The elevator was loud and you can hear everyone above you. Besides that it was beautiful and relaxing to look and sit by the water.

The rooms were quite large and allowed for a lot of down time spent in the hotel. It was close to all the downtown shops and restaurants. It could use a few updates, but for the price, it was well worth it!

Hi GeorgiaThank you for your review. To address a few things we do have a few suites that have full kitchens. They are available upon request. Dish washing liquid and sponges are kept at the front desk. We do not keep them in the rooms because guests tend to put the liquid in the dish washers and bubbles flood the kitchens. The soap in the bathroom is meant for washing but I will mention to management body wash was suggested. Thank you again for your feedback and I hope you come back again soon!

Loved our stay here! The room(s) were incredible. One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. I think we had more space than in our own home. The view was gorgeous, the place was clean, & location ideal.

Home away from home
Definitely clean and everything provided the you could possibly need with only few minor suggestions. Could use couple nonbreakable cups for bathrooms, shampoo and conditioner that one can actually extract from bottles, and small bottle of dish detergent and sponge (I dissolved laundry detergent in hot water and used for 3 day stay as my dish detergent). No one is going to use dishwasher for short stay. Otherwise, place is quiet, convenient, comfortable, spacious and complete. What a view and pool is the best!! Desk staff is efficient, helpful and fun.

Excellent property. Had some issue checking in, but the front desk took care if it without a problem, thank you Allie. Great location, parking wasn't an issue, and the room(s) were all comfortable. Would stay here again!

My wife and i went on an overnight trip to Newport and had a great stay at the Wellington Resort. It was walking distance to all the atractions, shops and restraunts. The room was clean and had great views of the Harbor. Great Place.

Great tiime
We had a great time in Newport . The resort was in a great location walking distance from stores and restaurants! The hotel room itself was very spacious. It is due for an update I think from the 80s. Otherwise the highlight for the kids was the indoor pool. It’s enclosed in glass so you feel like you’re outside. Spacious patios.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Rooms are lovely and well furnished. Stunning views of harbor and parking lot opens to Thames street where there is plenty of shopping and dining options. The other side of the parking lot opens to start of Ocean Drive- perfect location. Loved our stay here

We traveled with another friend couple so the family suite (two bedroom and two baths) was a perfect choice. Each bedroom room was large, clean, and very private. The family room, kitchen and dining area were huge and great for us to spend time together. The price (late September) was very reasonable compare to other hotels nearby. We were very happy and we will definitely stay here again.

This property is great, but you need to know that check out is STRICTLY enforced by 11am or you will be charged an additional night. They were not flexible on this AT ALL.

Hi Ralph,Thank you for your review. We were completely booked for Friday so housekeeping needed to get into the rooms to clean. The suites are pretty big so the latest we allow check out to be is 12pm. We hope you understand.
