The customer service was great! However the state of the room was poor there was marker on the curtains, both lamp shades were broken/ripped, the chair was stained so bad we didn’t feel comfortable even setting our things on it, one of the beds was broken and sank in the middle and we heard this obnoxious banging noise all throughout the night.

Electricity to our room was interrupted for several hours twice in two days, the second time apparently due to fix an issue in the room adjacent to ours. Also, our room rate was over twice that of others who stayed at the same time as I noticed on the reservation screen in the lobby which was on when we arrived with no one there to check us is for 10 minutes. When I asked about it the response was to maybe book directly next time instead of through Expedia! I don't think Expedia sets the rates and all other bookings I made for this trip through Expedia seemed in line with the going rate. There was no offer to make any adjustments for the issue with our room. Would not stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay there and the staff were very welcoming. The only thing that could use improvement is sound proofing the rooms to avoid hearing others above and next door. The walls are pretty thin if I could hear the person snoring next door. I will opt for the top floor next time. It’s a great location and very safe for a solo traveler with shopping and dining in walking distance.

We paid extra for sea facing view but there was an RV parked right outside our window and we could not keep the curtains open. The people from the RV come out in the night and it is very uncomfortable

We were lucky to get an early check in, and the front desk was so friendly! The room on the 1st floor 124 was pretty musty, but beds were relatively comfortable. No hair dryer. We had the windows open most of the time due to smell, but there were no screens and it was legit on the road side so people walking by a lot. Probably not super safe. The location was great: close to all the Nye Beach fun things and food, plus beach access. Pool house was nice, two bathrooms and a shower. But one towel for 4 of us as the rest were dirty in a pile on the ground. Price was high, even for a holiday weekend. The pipes also did a steady thumping pretty much all the time and the noise factor from above was high.

We have stayed here several times. Rooms are always clean and functional. Continental breakfast was good, husband loved the waffles! Good place to stay while in Newport. We will be back.

Our view room was across the street from the ocean with a view of a ramshackle RV parked in front of our window and homeless persons sleeping in their cars. The heavy foot falls of the people upstairs were very loud. TV was clunky and laborious. Water pressure was okay.

Almost oceanfront, view was great. 2 blocks to beach access. Room was not clean. Blue soap marks in tub from last person, chair was very worn and ripped, condition of all furniture was otherwise dinged or warped or water damaged. Staff was pleasant and approachable but otherwise very run down and poorly cared for.

The staff was friendly not just with myself, but the interactions with all the other guests I witnessed a was positive as well. Stayed 4 nights and the breakfast was good every morning. Pool and other amenities were open and available as expected. A few blocks from nye beach was convenient and within a mile of the hotel was walmart and Fredmeyers. The photos were from just outside of my room.
