A place to lay your head for the night

I just needed a place to lay my head for the night on a trip so I wasn't looking for anything extra. Pretty basic motel.The bed was comfortable and the owner was friendly. Cleanliness was okay, nothing glaring but there are a few things that were given less detail and attention.

I was delightfully surprised at how lovely the rooms were when we opened the door. From the outside, it looked like a well kept old style motel but the rooms were definitely modern, spacious, and very well cared for - not dated at all! The extra bonus of an outdoor picnic area was a pleasant discovery, as well.

A GREAT HOTEL FOR AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH OUR OVERNIGHT STAY. IT WAS VERY EASY CHECKING IN AND OUT AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE. IT WAS NICE HAVING ACCESS TO A MINI FRIDGE, MICROWAVE AND COFFEE RIGHT IN THE ROOM. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

The Newport motel was clean, and reasonably priced motel. We stayed after a ski day at Sunapee and although not a full service hotel was perfect for what we needed- a clean comfortable place to sleep. We would stay here again.
