「Perfect for our requirements」

「Clean and quiet.」

「Nice little hotel. Very friendly desk clerk. Quite efficient and helpful. Very complicated series of doorways to get through to get in and out of the hotel and to rooms inside the hotel. Also quite hazardous stairs if you are above the first floor. Forget about the top floor if you are not young and nibble! Parking is convenient but minimal. Can get blocked in by later arrivals. Reception hours are minimal as well. Although it does state this on the hotel info page. Restaurant has ok food....

「Great hotel」

「King room in the modern accommodation block was small but fine, a good find. Dinner was great pub grub. We hadn’t realised that breakfast is not available (Sun-Fri) but that was also fine.」

「The door wouldn’t lock, either inside or outside, so had to be fixed. There was no loo rolls in bathroom, which I had to ask for. I got in from work hoping to have a shower, but there was no hot water. I told the landlady but there still wasn’t any hot water in the morning. Not impressed by the whole experience」

「Standards have really dropped. I have stayed here multiple times over the past few years and」

「Immaculate room and very spacious with comfy big arm chairs. Bathroom was spotless too and shower lovely and roomy. Breakfast and dinners were delicious!! The pancakes came with loads of yummy bacon and plenty maple syrup! The fish and chips were plentiful, steak pie was hearty and filling! Will be back!」

「Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens.」
