The staff were really helpful. The hotel was not particularly clean, no lift (wasn't advertised). Wouldn't stay there again.

Needs some love.

Friendly staff. Great location. A very 'down at heel' establishment, I'm afraid. The most uncomfortable bed and shabbiest room that I have stayed in ever.

Hotel well positioned on Osborne Road near bus stop. Breakfast a bit basic but food and room good value particularly in inflationary times.

when we arrived the staff were very nice. went up to our room and very small especially bathroom shower was very poir was getting outside the shower cubicle wet. when in the shower the floor was very slippy. went to open toilet door and the handle came off as was just hanging on with 1 screw. contenental breakfast was disapointing didnt offer soya milk for allergies as i need this milk.

The room was adequate and provided what it needed. The bathroom was definitely not cleaned properly in a long time with a buildup of mould in the caulking and behind taps. Be mindful when booking that the bar downstairs is popular with a student party crowd (not too unusual with the area) so the music is loud until the early morning. Overall not a bad stay just not a great stay.

I really liked it here great road full of bars and bar downstairs, the £50 deposit on arrival is a bit weird and should be taken or made clear when purchasing room online

I liked the TV and WIFI, and the bed was comfortable. I found the shower hard to manage. The room was a bit shabby and the noise from the bar downstairs was loud but it all went quiet at 11 when it closed.

For the price it was excellent value The heating didn’t work in our room (hot water and shower did work and shower was lovely) but we did have a heater which worked a treat. There was complimentary breakfast bag and free coffee machine in the morning
