It was not as noisy as other pubs I have stayed at. The food was nice and reasonable. All the patrons in the pub know each other and was curious as to who I was so introduced themselves to me which was nice. My room was comfy & the shower had good pressure. The best thing was the beach which was walking distance and a beachside cafe which served amazing coffee & food. As it was Easter weekend, everyone goes to Nelson bay which makes Stockton a little more quieter which was lovely. Even though the camping ground was full, it did not seem overly busy. Just a lovely atmosphere. The local residents tending to their gardens all like to say hello to passers by. It seems like a nice, safe community. I will definitely try to stay again.

While the room was nice... clean and comfortable.. the shared ameties were not... what looked like day old puke stains in the mens toilets and grimy showers.. with the staff not even aware of a check in notification... Even with the cheap prices... give this place a miss and go to the nearest budget hotel... They have alot to learn in providing decent accomodation and the basic amenities...
