Very clean inside and out. Very friendly atmosphere. Maids were so pleasant. Reasonable price. I definitely wld recommend Trails Inn. The only thing I was disappointed with was no breakfast item available.

Good size room, huge bed but it was hard as a rock. Amenities were nice for the price, check in was easy. Nice rainfall shower head. Toilet sat extremely low. If the bed had been more comfortable, would stay there again.

It is always hit or miss when traveling to remote places of the UP, this was a hit! Very easy to access your room through the automated system in the office, directions and information was all provided. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and location was just outside of Newberry (7min drive to downtown). Additionally, it being a roadside motel, it was awfully quiet, not much road noise or noise from other guests, and it was quite full. Overall it was a reliable stay, would definitely come back!

The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful and easy to access via a computer in the lobby. I was a little leery about the self check-in, but it was very smooth and easy. There was nearly instant response on the computer screen via a Zoom or Facetime-like call. I would definitely stay here again. And the room was very quiet.

The property was will mowed and clean outside. Nice field to walk our dog. It appears this has been semi renovated. The inside was very clean. Comfortable bed, clean bath and easy access to ice. The only reason I rated the amenities, Good, was the refrigerator freezer section was small and didn’t close so our ice packs didn’t refreeze. Overall I would highly recommend. It was different not having someone on site, however, we navigated the electronic check in well. Super easy. We would stay here again.

Property is clean, updated and well maintained. There is no staff present and service can be spotty so if there are issues with check in/property that could pose as problematic. They provide the code for the key via text, which is not given to them by Expedia. As I was driving I didn't see that they didn't have my number until I arrived via the Expedia app. I tried calling, however due to the spotty service all I could hear was static. I was able to provide my phone number to the property via the Expedia app and they were able to text me the information. It all worked out just fine but I believe emailing the information would have also worked and it would have caused less time waiting at the property without being able to access our room. Once inside the rooms are very clean and everything is updated. We would definitely stay here again.
