I would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely return. The staff are excellent, perfect location for exploring, complimentary mini bar along with teas, coffees and hot chocolate etc.

Reasonably-priced hotel gem in NYC

Great hotel for single traveller, amazing location, very clean and quiet, friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable front-desk staff. Great free mini-bar fridge in room Appreciated hot tea/cocoa in lobby on very cold days! Missed having a window in the room - but nothing's perfect!

The Blue Angel is in a great location for touring Manhatten. Close to the Subway and walkable to many of the sights. The room was perfect for our needs (2 adults, 1 child - 11 years old). Two good sized double beds and a nice clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and welcoming and there were nice touches like hot drinks in the foyer and snacks and drinks available in a fridge in the room. Very happy with our 2 night stay

This is a lovely small hotel- very clean and well kept. No microwave but a fridge stocked with goodies and soft drinks. Coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the lobby. No breakfast but lots of places in the neighborhood to get something. Nice Whole Foods close by.

Blue Angel convenient

After a room change as the heat was not working in the first, I was in a small but comfortable room. What I paid was expensive for the amenities provided. This is a class 3 tourist hotel. No frills. Good location. Walkable for all midtown. Very nice, helpful and accommodating staff!!

I stayed in room 201, and HVAC was so laud that I barely could sleep. My coworkers stayed in different rooms and they don't have this problem. Comfortable mattress, quite, smooth coffee, convenient location, friendly personal.

My husband and I stayed at Carvi Hotel for 5 nights. The staff were all very accomodating and friendly. My favorite was Mara. She made sure that we get the best service during our entire stay. The rooms were clean. They actually changed our sheets. I know they changed it but that’s another story to tell. Overall, our stay was excellent. I would definitely stay at Carvi on our next trip to NY.

The property was honestly disgusting. We were there in a NON REFUNDABLE room for 30 minutes and it was so disgusting that we left and I had to pay for another hotel. When trying to take a shower, the water began expelling an awful smell. It was so unclean that the person rooming with me would not removed her sandals in her attempt to take a shower. I ran my finger over the one of the travel magazines on the night stand in the room and my finger was covered with dirt/dust. In addition, the “queen” sized bed was was barely big enough for one person to sleep in and DEFINITELY not big enough for 2 people. This was the worst hotel experience that I’ve had. I QUICKLY paid the extra $1000 to stay somewhere else. This detestable at best.
