Top New Plymouth Observatory Hotel Reviews

The Devon Hotel A Heritage Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very happy that they have EV charger, so we could charge our car overnight. Very friendly staff and convenient hotel."

Novotel New Plymouth Taranaki

10/10 Excellent

"Clean rooms, nice and quiet. Although this may have been because I requested an upper floor. But that request was granted as was our request to check out at midday. The hotel was very accommodating and the staff very helpful. The only downside is that it is about a 15-20min walk to the centre of town, but we didn’t find that a major drawback and walked everywhere. I highly recommend this property."

King and Queen Hotel Suites

10/10 Excellent

"Quiet,clean, comfortable, friendly. Excellent."

Belt Road Seaside Holiday Park

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were amazing and very helpful for getting in and explaining where the unit was. Unit A1 and my sea view amazing."

Millennium Hotel New Plymouth Waterfront

8/10 Good

"Great place on the waterfront. Loved the fact they have a 9:30PM to 05:00M “night owl menu” that includes great carb heavy options if you’ve been out drinking or granola and yoghurt if you have to get up super early, before the official breakfast starts. Fair value for money. Would stay there again. Just a shame the room doors are so heavy that it wakes you up when someone shuts the door down the corridor even though no one is slamming them."

Ariki Backpackers

8/10 Good

"Property is accessible to food outside, groceries & tour places nearby. Chris & Rob is friendly and helpful."

Nice Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A true boutique hotel - interesting art, lots of personal touches. A real sense of pride in ownership."

Brougham Heights Motel

Braemar Motor Inn
