Staff was lovely and nice, very attentitive and lived on site. Pool was cold but spa was nice and hot. Room was ice cold even with the heater on all night. Was pretty noisy next to the highway also but conveniently right in the middle of town.

Awesome price, close to city and places we wanted to visit. Helpful friendly staff. Plenty of comfortable beds with great clean linen and towels. quiet surroundings. Good shower pressure and plenty of crockery etc. Thanks, enjoyed our stay, will definitely book again.

Expensive for what it was, but it was Matatini so lucky to get a room at late notice. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location was the only reason for the noise being on the corner of a busy intersection of SH3 and the city centre.

The property is very convenient we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. But the room is in need of some maintenance. Raewyn went the extra mile to find us a room on the ground floor when she saw we had difficulty with stairs which was really great.

Very 80s retro! I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe. Very close to food outlets, city centre, Pukekura Park and the sea - each way is a 10-15 minute walk. Cheap and cheerful 😄

Location was central to everything. Supermarkets and eateries within walking distance. Parking was great. Property is a bit old fashioned but was very clean and comfortable. Road noise was noticeable but lessoned later in the evening.

The lady at reception was welcoming and friendly. We were give room 49. It’s at the back of the property, it old and run down. The hot water was near non existent. Wouldn’t recommend unless you you were in front rooms. Wouldn’t stay again.
