Property is great if you want to be right on Bourbon street. Convenient to all areas. Bars and dining on site. At night, once you step out the front doors, you will be in the mist of a very busy crowed street. Thankfully the hotel was very quiet inside. Once Bourbon street is closed off at night, no vehicles can get close. You will have to walk blocks to get a taxi or uber. The staff were friendly and helpful, expect for one particular bell attendant. Upon completing our check in and navigating the lobby, I briefly asked the bell attendant a question on directions on getting somewhere on the property and he responded as such..." Sorry, I have to catch the elevator" and kept walking. Wow! I have never experienced a complete dismissal from a staff member like that as a hotel guest. It was so unprofessional. I was tempted to say something to the front desk, but didn't want to aggravate myself in the moment. Thankfully through out our stay several other bell attendants were very pleasant and attentive and made up for that unfortunate experience. Overall we all had a very good experience , just wish the rooms and facilities were more updated. Renovations would be a great addition. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
