Not Worth the Cost (July 2025)
I would not recommend the Omni Royal Orleans. I paid around $1,000 expecting a high-quality stay, but it was far from that.
My room was small, poorly maintained, and far from the elevator, despite requesting a better option in advance. The balcony was unusable due to direct sun from early afternoon until evening, making it extremely hot.
Bathroom fixtures were rusty, the bathtub was stained, and the paint was chipped — clear signs of poor upkeep.
Wi-Fi is not free, and breakfast is not included, which is disappointing at this price range. The on-site restaurant was overpriced and not worth it.
Worst of all, the hotel was under renovation, and I was not informed beforehand — something that should have been disclosed before booking.
Overall, this hotel does not reflect the value or experience it claims to offer. You can find much better accommodations in the French Quarter for the same or lower price.
