We enjoyed our stay very much. The room would have been a bit more comfortable if there were a couple of chairs and small table. Perhaps the new owners will be updating the furnishings.

Wonderful B&B

This B&B was very nice, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was spacious and clean and the local area was terrific. Definitely recommend it :)

Garden District Gem

Lovely historic Bed & Breakfast. Charm and ambiance throughout, Nice continental breakfast can be eaten on the front patio garden or front porch. Historic street cars run right in front of Inn for easy access to other parts of the city.

Beautiful mansion with amazing owners

We stayed for a week. Joe and Bebe are the most gracious hosts. They go all out for their guests. The hospitality is above par. The two answer all questions and have excellent recommendations. They offer a lovely continental breakfast and a 24 hr snack bar ( a much needed element after a night in the Quarter). Service staff is excellent.

High quality at an Expedia price on St. Charles

Expedia. Price made this usually to pricey place for us affordable with street car just steps away in good area. Joe and Bebe we're knowledgeable hosts with alovely place

Southern hospitality and comfort

I have been going to Joe and Bebe's for three years. These are special people. Joe dropped everything and drove my daughter and wife onto a nearby university's campus in the pouring rain upon their first arrival years ago on an admissions visit. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is replete with choices; 24-hour snacks and water are also available. This is SO convenient to everything in the Garden District. There is plenty of tourist literature available for you to take during your visit. Joe and Bebe are quite knowledgeable of the area, as they have lived there many years. If you want complete privacy while enjoying a historically significant home away from home, look no further. Make sure to take your breakfast and paper out onto the porch rocking chairs or lovely iron tables and chairs in the manicured garden as you watch the people and trolley cars glide by!

First Trip to New Orleans

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. It was our first time staying at a B&B, but we would certainly do it again. The positives: Joe and Bebe were outstanding hosts. They had plenty of local knowledge and were available whenever we needed them. The home was beautiful! The breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast, and got our day off to a great start. Very slight negatives: We are used to a king bed, so a queen was a little difficult for my wife and I to be comfortable. We were on the third floor and there is no elevator. Only mildly inconvenient, and really only when dealing with luggage. Overall, the positives far outweighed the very slight negatives! I'm sure if the stairs are a problem that Joe and Bebe would do their best to accommodate a request for a ground floor room if possible.

ミッドタウン住宅街の路面電車沿い

路面電車の駅が目の前で便利．住宅街なので夜は静か．危険な雰囲気皆無． 自宅の空き部屋を宿泊施設として提供しているとのことながら，部屋は広く毎日ベットメーキングもしっかり行われ快適．朝食もベーグル，シリアル，ヨーグルト，ジュース，果物，コーヒー・紅茶，ペットボトル等が常備され十分．宿泊者同士，一つのテーブルを囲んでの食事で仲良くなれるのも良い．宿主は懇切丁寧に案内してくれ，事前にメールで空港からの交通手段等についても教えてくれる．iphoneアプリで翻訳するお茶目ぶりも． 隣接するレストランは21時半にはしまるが，ワンブロックとなりのレストランはもう少し遅くまで開いている．夜通しジャズが鳴り響くフレンチクオーターですごすのもニューオーリンズらしいが，山の手の路面電車沿いで静かな夜を過ごす贅沢もぜひお試しあれ．高速道路下まで日中徒歩30分以内，町中で食べて飲んで帰りに酔っ払って歩いても1時間はかかりません．．．（路面電車は20分に1本と聞いたものの多少ムラ有り．夜8時以降は本数少ないものの，3−4時を除いては何か音がしてました）

Budget-friendly Garden District

The Avenue Inn B&B is conveniently located on St. Charles Ave, right in front of a trolley stop. For most tourist activities in New Orleans, using public transportation/Uber is much, much better than driving, so this is a great plus. Leave the car parked in the free parking at the B&B. The inn is an historical building, so if you have difficulties with stairs or accessibility, the 2nd or 3rd floor is not for you. The inn caters to adults and quiet guests.

Nice B&B in an axcellent position

We enjoyed our stay here. Joe and Bebe were very welcoming and informative. Breakfast was plentiful and good choices. We thought our boutique room was a little expensive for the size of it, but it was the only one available. Would stay here again but preferably in one of their larger bedrooms. Perfect position for the street car to Downtown NO

Belle étape

Agréable séjour, mais nous étions déçus par la literie, et par la climatisation trop bruyante. Le quartier est très sympathique. Le tramway est exceptionnel et rend l'accès très simple vers le centre.

Great BnB on St Charles

Avenue Inn BnB is clean, comfortable and conveniently located on St Charles. Great access to restaurants, hip Magazine Street, Tulane University and a quick Streetcar ride to downtown to all the tourist hot spots. I have a child at Tulane and visit NO 4-5 times a year. I enjoy staying at different locations ... but on my next visit I will return to the Avenue Inn BnB.

Beatiful Mansion in a great location!

Avenue Bed n Breakfast is a beautiful mansion on St Charles with approx 17 rooms. I was upgraded to large suite, at the suggestion of the owner when he discovered that the thermostat in the room to which I had been assigned was stuck on frigid! the room is beautiful!! and quite comfortable and clean! I was there to accomplish a personal errand with my daughter but we were thwarted from fulfilling the task by Hurricane Harvey's rain bands. I had to stay an extra day and was planning on a third, but I was able to get a flight out of the city.That was no problem. Joe, the owner, is a very practical, business like fellow. His wife, BeBe is more engaging. Their helper, Nelga was VERY nice and took care of the ample continental breakfast in the morning. The instructions/house rules are very explicit and Joe explains them clearly - how to open the old front door, the quiet hours, etc.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Avenue Inn B&B.The staff was friendly and helpful. Joe offered great restaurants and local attractions for us to visit during our stay. Upon our arrival he even presented us with warm cookies right from the oven to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a great time!
