Explore Cappadocia

We wanted to sleep in Cappadocia region in an hotel where we could live the experience of sleeping inside the rocks and Snora was a good choice. Good breakfast in the morning. Wifi not much stable and very hot inside the room with no air conditioning. Nice employees always helpful. No issues to park the car nearby.

Cute hotel with fantastic staff

Staff had very limited English, but had loads of patience with us using google translate. They were very pleasant and helpful. We arrived later than expected and despite their ‘restaurant’ not being open, they did help us order delivery and served it to us in their rooftop restaurant area. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Staff were helpful in helping to coordinate tours (and were able to get significantly better prices than what we could find online). Room is a bit small, but to be expected for the region / style. Temp was easily contrôlable with opening windows (might be warm in the heat of summer). Overall, cute, quaint, boutique hotel with warm and friendly staff.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a peaceful district

Snora Hotel is extremely homely, with staff who are very friendly, helpful and accommodating to every need. The rooms look beautiful and there is a wonderful enclosed rooftop restaurant with glass walls giving views on three sides. We enjoyed sitting here and watching the birds, including hoopoes, jays, wheatears, laughing doves, sparrows and swifts. Breakfast is a delicious Turkish-style traditional köy kahvalti served in the rooftop restaurant. Two charming cats roam the hotel with the air of being in charge of the place. We found the cave room, although undeniably elegant, lacked ventilation - but happily they let us change to an upper floor room with a window. The hotel is on a very steep street, so anyone with mobility issues would need to come and go by taxi.

CAVE is a good choice but not in summer. It was too hot, we got a fan which make it little ok but still sweating. It was up on mountain so not good area around. Its little away from main Goreme tourist area.

Bina tarihi, mağara tarzı odaları sevenler için birebir. Odalar çok güzel düzenlenmiş, oldukça geniş, çok iyi ısıtılıyor. Temizlik yeterliydi duş başlığı suyu çok dağıttığı için biraz sorun yaşattı ancak sıcak suda bir problem yoktu. Otel genel olarak temiz, personel ilgiliydi. Ancak otelin konumu Ürgüp ve göremeye uzak. Bununla birlikte kaldığımız oda mağara konseptli olup ayrıca bir pencere yoktu. Bu nedenle odada ağır bir koku vardı. İki gece olan rezervasyonumuzun bir gecesini yakıp başka bir yerde konakladık. Mağara tavanından üzerimize toz dökülmesi de hoşumuza gitmedi.
