Honestly one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I don’t need to say too much about just how beautiful the hotel is, offering the best rooftop view of Cappadocia during sunrise hot air balloons. Each room is so uniquely decorated, there’s cute seating areas all over the hotel. What’s exceptional about this place is the service. 1. We arrived at the hotel at 4am in the morning after a red eye flight. The staff was kind enough to let us wait and sleep in their common area. They also offered us free breakfast with the other guests. When they saw how tired we were, the owner upgraded us to a bigger room where the guests were checking out early so we could rest first. 2. They let us check out later so we could get a few more hours of sleep after waking up at 3am for our hot air balloon ride 3. It was my friend’s birthday and they prepared a cake for us to enjoy during sunset at the rooftop 4. We had a 3am flight and didn’t book an additional night at the hotel. The staff let us rest in the indoor break room before our flight though we had already checked out. This hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location. The rooms were so unique and the common area offered incredible views of Cappadocia. Incredible customer service and very kind staff. Highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting Cappadocia.

Wonderful stay! Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable. Our room was just what we wanted - decorated beautifully and clean - and in a cave! But the absolute best part was the outdoor terrace. Just a beautiful spot to read, drink a glass of wine, relax. The breakfast was delicious. Could easily walk to town. Cannot recommend enough!

Koza cave was our favourite place to stay while we travelled. They had incredible cave rooms, outstanding customer service and the most amazing food. Most importantly the view from the rooftops for the sunrise and hot air balloons are unmatched. It looks like everything you see on Instagram. Would recommend Koza Cave to anyone. Thanks you! Goreme is now one of our favourite places in the world.

Beautiful family owned hotel.
We really loved Koza, not only because of its amazing looks and location but because of the treatment from the staff, which we understand are all part of the same family. Watching the balloons from the highest terrace in Göreme was magical. Breakfast was delicious and very complete and the cave rooms are amazing and always clean. If your are going to Capadoccia, Koza is the place to stay.

It was a family owned business who were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable. Breakfast was available every morning with the beautiful scenery on the roof top. The terrace is open at 5:30am to see the hot air balloon take off and someone was there serving hot coffee making it a beautiful moment to enjoy to take photos and relax.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Koza Cave Hotel. We had a junior suite, which was spacious but cozy, and the room was clean and decorated nicely. The guy who runs the concierge is incredibly nice and helpful. He also speaks English quite well, which made coordinating easy. There are also two beautiful long-haired cats who live on the property, Mimi and Kiki, who we enjoyed interacting with :). You really can't beat the views from the top deck, either, which provides a panoramic of Göreme. Two things I would note: -In our room at least (room 1), the bathroom was closed off from the rest of the suite using a curtain only, which means a lack of privacy when using the restroom. This is due to regulations surrounding modifying these historic caves. 2. Walking back up to the hotel from the little downtown area can get a bit tiring as in involves some steep inclines. It's good exercise, but I might suggest taking a cab ride up depending on your age/abilities. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Terrible experience, Terrible experience, on their page it is not specified that they did not receive children... we arrived after a long trip... and they did not want to receive us... when I told them that it did not say about the children... they did not know Needless to say, I had paid for one of the best suites they supposedly had... and they literally left us on the street with my 5-year-old son, one of the worst experiences we've had in many years traveling the world. zero recommended.

My experience at Koza Cave Hotel was so wonderful. The staff was communicative and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and ofcourse the view was magical and surreal. Thank you so much for making my first trip to Cappadocia so lovely!

I loved everything about my stay here. Since the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and helpful, by the time we left we felt sad because we felt like they were family already. It’s a cozy place run by family and every corner in this place is magical. They have an amazing rooftop with the most magical views for the hot air balloons. Their breakfast is so delicious and freshly made every morning. The hotel is located walking distance to everything. We loved their rooms as well. They had everything we needed.

Top pick hotel for uniqueness
Koza Cave Hotel is definitely on my top of unique-property list, and the friendliness of the staff added so much to this valuable experience! I only expected that a hotel that’s so integrated into the cultural side in both present and past history, would be a little bit more conscious about the plastic bottles, but I guess from a single use plastic standpoint, it’s also the only thing I noticed that was out of place. The top tier room is the most valuable option because it offers a unique bathroom and a private balcony that may include a cat visit in the morning if you leave the balcony door open.

Delicious breakfast, twin room a bit too small
Family run cave hotel with a terrace with views of the hot air balloons in the morning. The hotel only has a few rooms so you won't be very crowded in the morning on the terrace like other hotels. However, the room we stayed in, twin bedroom was very small and didn't have much space to walk in and quite overpriced. You could stay in a suite in a nearby cave hotel with less than the price you pay for a twin bedroom here. The welcome wine and small snacks was appreciated. Breakfast in the morning was very delicious with the scrambled eggs and sausages. Maybe choose a spot inside rather than sitting outside as there are a lot of bees that fly around. A staff member came out with an incense to drive away the bees but you smell like burnt charcoal afterwards.

Really welcoming hosts at a unique hotel
Great stay in a really unique hotel. The service in particular was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for these lovely hosts. Would recommend if you’re looking for a welcoming base in Cappadocia

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel took COVID-19 precautions seriously and made us feel very safe and welcomed. The host was very helpful, friendly, and spoke great English. Breakfast was also delicious. The hotel has great views and the cave room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel but not the warmest service
The hotel itself is beautiful, with one of the most amazing rooftop setups. It's the highest so gives you a great view. Breakfast was good as well. We stayed in the King Suite, which was so cool. We were a little disappointed with the lack of hospitality given that it was a small family-run place. Everyone was polite enough, but not really friendly and didn't go out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. We had also asked the hotel to organize a hotel pick up for us upon arrival. They confirmed but no one was there to get us. We ended up taking a taxi for double the price. They also let non-hotel guests use the rooftop in the morning -- which is nice but we often found ourselves waiting for quick a long time in order to take pictures, which didn't seem fair. If it was other hotel guests, it wouldn't be a problem of course.

One of the best small hotels I have ever visited
What an amazing hotel. Lovely people, stunning set up and a delicious breakfast. Mustafa even hopped in his truck to drive us to a wonderful pottery shop (that I specifically asked for) and then dropped us off at the best starting point for a Love Valley hike. This is a one in a million property.

Koza Cave is a renovated cave house. The attention to authentic detail is fabulous and all adds to the luxurious cave dwelling experience. The family who own and operate the hotel are so hospitable and provide exceptional and very personalized service.

Fantastic stay at Koza!
We had THE BEST stay at Koza Cave Hotel. I wasn't really sure what to expect since we got a good rate and I didn't have lots of communication with staff beforehand, but our room was spacious and well-equipped, the bathroom was modern, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious and a highlight of our trip, (we ate out on the terrace every morning). Best of all, the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and friendly, and went above and beyond in almost every way we could think of. The location was also good. Long story short, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend Koza to friends, family, and acquaintances, and would return tonight if we could!
