No one was there to book me in. Went back later and a person told me they had changed hands, and they are not open, so I had nowhere to stay. I wish someone had notified me that they were not going to be open so I could have made other arrangements. Horrible experience. C&H Motel El Dorado Springs

The motel is not open for business. I made reservations on line thru Expedia paid for a room for 2 nights when got to motel I had no room the motel out of business.

Very rude man and dirty room

The man running the hotel was very rude. He tried giving us a dirty room. The beds were slept in, dirty towels in the bathroom, trash in the trash cans and dead bugs on the floor. The air conditioning didn’t work right and the people next to us said the same. This would be a gold mine if they had the right management and put new mattresses in. There’s absolutely no reason to treat your customers like this. Maybe saying hello and a smile on your face would help.

When we arrived we had to ring several times and yell because the man was in their living area & could not hear. We got to our room #10 and it was very cold inside. Temp outside was 42 on new years eve. The heater was an conditioning type unit in the wall at ceiling. Warm air only and the settings either did not work or was fixed so we could not increase the heat from 70 nor raise the fan from low. It took 2 hours to get to where we removed our coats. I had a chest cold, so that made matters worse. The TV had to be rebooted and there was no way we could figure how to do it, No phone in the room to call for assistance with anything. No coffee or maker was in the room. The bathroom was okay but the stool was real low and I had to have help getting up. The shower knob was missing to change from tub to shower and the towels was so thin and ruff that they had to of been there from day one. We will not recommend this place to anyone. There was no service, no ice available that we new of and almost all the laundry rooms equipment did not work. What a shame, even though the price was CHEAP, the conditions could have been better and we would of paid more. The guy (from India) acted like he did not care about anything we ask or comment on. To Bad!!!!!!! \\

We liked the lower price. It was quiet. It was so cold in the room upon check in we had to go out to the car to stay warm. The A/C in the upper wall was also a heat pump and put out an almost undetectable amount of heat. We were finally given a small electric space heater. After 3 hours the temp reached 70. The TV did not work. They got it to work for 5 min. then it quite again. We gave up after the guy made 3 trips. The staff was very unfriendly and very somber. Our first and, for sure, our last stay. Would never recommend to a friend.

Was where I needed to be as it was the only Motel in town. It could have ghadd move amenities in the room such as kleenex, coffee pot etc. It was strictly bare bones.

Just Ok

Wifi didn't work in our room. Assuming we were to far away from the router. Towels were not the cleanest. No wash rag or hand towel. Shower curtain definitely needed taken down and either washed and bleached or completely replaced. Ok if you just want a place to sleep for the night.

Great place to stay if you're hunting Schell Osage or four rivers CA. Management was friendly and room was clean. The price made it even better.

It is what it is

This is an older motel as there is only so much you can do with it. It's maintained as well as can be expected short of an expensive remodeling. The sulfur level/smell in the water is really the biggest complaint but that's more of a city issue verses a motel issue. The staff was helpful and nice to work with.
