The room was what I was expecting for the price i paid. It was clean and it accommodated exactly for what I hoped to need. I got it for one day. And stayed by the beach and walked around its great central location. I don’t think I would stay there for a week’s worth. But a few days yes. It’s complimentary *(included in my booking) breakfast was good and did the job. Great helpful staff.

This a a very basic hotel that we enjoy because of the convenience and because it is clean and affordable. The breakfast is quite nice as well. The layout of the room is nice as far as drawers and shelves. The bathroom also has places to put your toiletries.

My stay at The Residence Hotel was wonderful. I booked a waterfront room and it didn’t disappoint—the view was stunning, and I loved relaxing on my private porch. Most of the front desk staff were friendly, though one person at checkout was a bit rude and didn’t speak English. The room was comfortable but could have been a little cleaner. I really appreciated the free late checkout. Families should note that there’s a restaurant behind the hotel with music at night. It didn’t bother me, but those with babies or light sleepers may notice it. Overall, an amazing stay—I’d definitely return!

The hotel photos are very misleading - probably taken 20 years ago. Room was in very poor condition - from the bathroom to the windows, falling apart curtains, etc. Stairwells were dirty. Building exterior looks run down, and needs a coat of paint. Breakfast food was below average. Lesson learned… you get what you pay for. On the positive side, you can’t beat the location - for both beach access and being able to walk into town.

Great couple get away

We needed to duck away for dinner couple time, this was prefect. A short walk to lots of good places for dates. Easy access to the beach for an early morning dip in the Mediterranean! Lovely staff lovely environment. We'll be back

Nice hotel and great location. Near the elevator to the beach great food options, a wonderful view of the sea. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast is good but not nearly as extensive as I’ve seen elsewhere. Staff can be more responsive and communicative. All in all I would come back

We love our view of the beach. The check in clerk did not speak a word of English and did not try to help us. I was trying to get basic information and he kept trying to brush me off.

In my initial room multiple things didnt work. staff were responsive but it was taking awhile to get it fixed with doubts about whether everything could be repaired. My only criticism is that when I asked if I should just take a different room it took awhile (but prob'ly shorter) to say yes. Other than that the place was great!

The proximity to the beach is wonderful, and the beach itself is really special with clear water and beautiful surroundings. The hotel itself was really ok. It was clean. There was a breakfast that I think met everyone's needs. But there was just kind of an air about that place that the staff had kinda been yelled at a lot. I didn't hear any yelling, but no one that worked there seemed happy. Then there was the elevator. I won't tell you not to stay there. It's a functional and clean building that is very close to the beach. It offers a kosher dairy breakfast and the price was unremarkable. I think that's my most honest review.

What it’s really like!

Hotel, needed an update, untidy- and dated. Headboard in room was falling apart, carpets worn and dirty. Room service cleaning was not 100%. Certainly not a 4 star hotel, uk 2 star at best. Reception staff- very short and unhelpful. You must pay now!! I lost my case on the flight out and they offered no assistance with toiletries etc.

I complained About the state of the carpet bitts all-over the carpet on the 3rd floor corridor.4 days before it was vacuumed. the breakfast was disgusting each day we had breakfast at about 8:30-9am. most of the dishes never re filled when asked to replenish we were ignored. one day I handed a basket of spoon's to one of the staff as there chocolate on the most of the spoons . the female staff member took it from me and put it back on the breakfast table. I then went and washed them under hot tap. The restaurant staff are not fit to work in hospitality. most other staff helpful What the hotel could do with is coffee machine in the main lobby if you are out for the evening and get dropped by a friend .you cannot invite them into the hotel for a coffee and a chat. don't mind paying for hot drink..

I recently stayed at Hotel Residence in Netanya and I was extremely disappointed with the room I received. The pictures and descriptions provided by the hotel were completely misleading, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Upon arrival, I had high expectations based on the beautiful pictures I had seen online. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what I had anticipated. The room I was given was nothing like the advertised photos. It was smaller, outdated, and lacked the promised amenities. The discrepancy between the pictures and the actual room was undeniable. The decor was worn out, the furniture was outdated, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. The room felt cramped and uncomfortable, and it did not provide the relaxing and enjoyable environment I had been expecting. I raised my concerns with the hotel staff, hoping for a resolution or a possible room change. However, their response was unhelpful and dismissive. They seemed indifferent to my concerns, which only added to my disappointment. I believe it is necessary for hotels to accurately represent their rooms in their advertising materials. Guests should be able to trust that what they see online is what they will actually receive. This experience has left me questioning the transparency and integrity of Hotel Residence.

Hotel très sympatique, familial, juste en face de la mer. Personnel sympatique. Trés bien pour passer quelques jours. Situé à 2 pas du Kikar haatsmaout. Quelques point d'améliorations: Petit déjeuner très rudimentaire Télévision dans les chambres avec aucune chaine française, alors que c'est la clientèle majoritaire ! Je recommande.
