"Clean room, fairly updated. For being right downtown, the hotel was pretty quiet. The room itself was pretty spacious. The hotel was walking distance to downtown and to the ferry dock. The only complaint is that the parking lot was relatively small compared to the number of rooms. This meant that I had to park across the lot from my room. The area is totally safe, so it was more of an annoyance than anything."

Waking up to the gentle waves and watching the ferries glide by was the highlight of our trip. We could walk to the Mackinac Island ferry terminal in minutes, and downtown dining and attractions were just a short stroll away. "Room was very clean except for Mayflies. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor above the lobby. I am handicapped and there was 2 handicapped parking spots both taken before we got there so lots of walking /steps or crossing a full parking lot to get to lobby, breakfast or our hotel room. Location was great for Sheplers ferry, views of Lake Huron , fireworks, restaurants ect."
