Good location outside city

Convenient, close to city with good transport links. Small room but perfect as a single.. friendly owner and flexible. Owner happy to organise a very early breakfast for another family. Would stay there again.

Where do I start.... middle of nowhere ,the key code didn't work, the front door never locks (always open) only one bathroom toilet for 8+ rooms, bedroom door does't shut properly, after hard try the door still wobble( gap between door and the frame), car park is very narrow, No kitchen space to wash the cup or els. To top all of that this scary looking black and white photo of a long hair victorian lady everywhere. Even if come free I won't even stay there again.

disappointing experience

Difficult to contact before arrival as the call is forwarded to a mobile number that has a bad connection Self check-in, the key was in a key safe and the room door was in room 8 was broken anyway so you don't really need a key to enter. No room service for 2 days and they only changed the towels when we asked them to. TV not working in the room and the ones that worked in the lounge was taken away No cutlery, crockery, just a couple of bowls. Very bad experience. There's beds are comfy though

This hotel is in need of renovating and updating. Very strong smell of cats as soon as you enter the building. over priced for what you get.

I never actually stayed the night, I was happy enough with the room but there was no wifi and didn't seemed to be getting fixed so I was moved to another guest house

The building of the guest house is very nice and has character. There are plenty of parking facilities but would benefit from having a designated parking bay for disabled guest. The website is informative and all photos showed rooms with en-suite. When I booked I made this assumption but ending up with shared bathroom which was my error. On arrival, access was via keysafe so there was no one at the guest house. We entered into a hall way which sadly smelt unpleasant. Our room was big, nice and clean with tea/coffee facilities and fresh clean towels. However, it’s the small things that made the stay a little disappointing. Our curtain was half hanging off and being at the front of the guest house meant all could see in. The TV did not work and had very little plug access for three adults. When we did need the light we had to go outside our front door to put the light on which then had only two bulbs working out of five. It stated that wifi was free. However, you had to sign up allowing the guest house to have access to what you are viewing/GDPR which I felt was an invasion and ended up using 4G when I had service. The bathroom was a walk down the hallway. It was big and clean. However, the shower was just a trickle. The bathroom could also benefit from having a blind on the window as it is on the ground floor as the frosted glass is not enough. Unfortunately it’s the small things that let the guest house down to what was a nice, big clean room

Very stressful experience!

It was an absolute nightmare just trying to gain access to the property. It is unmanned, so they work a lock box system to get your key, only the code wasn't sent and the 24/7 helpline doesn't get answered! If it wasn't for the cleaner turning up, we would have been stranded. According to the landlady at the local pub, this happens all the time and is a standing joke in the village. Once in the room, it was tidy, clean and well presented but the bed was horrendously uncomfortable and the shower didn't work.

Couldnt fault the room, very clean, comfy beds ,good parking, albeit a little tight, but everything youd need. However, and its not the fault of the hotel itself, our room was situated by the front door, which meant guests arriving back late ,talking quite loudly, were heard very clearly, waking us up. Also, the room above resonated with every sound, so talking, the tv and, unfortunately, the bed squeaking!!! were heard very clearly. I was staying with my 18 & 19 year old kids, so it was a little embarrasing, but if itd been younger kids, it could have been very awkward. I dont know if its possible to get some sound isolation between floors, but itd be very desirable.

Aucun accueil, donc j'aurais au moins espéré un mail ou un texto pour indiquer où se trouvaient les clés. Il a fallu que j'envoie 2 messages + 1 mail + que je téléphone en arrivant pour pouvoir avoir enfin l'information. La chambre était correcte, même si un peu petite pour 3 personnes.

Great Stay

Great little B&B, communication was good, parking was easy, although I worry if it was very busy their wouldn’t be enough spaces. WiFi needs to be sorted as nothing of mine would connect and I had to get the password off of another guest. Price is very reasonable.

Guesthouse mit verblichenem Charme. Lage an einer Durchgangsstrasse und die direkte Umgebumg ist nicht schön. Als Absprungstation Richtung Meer und Berge aber gut geeignet. Vermutlich früherer Aufenthaltsraum total zugestellt, was zu einem ungemütlichen Eindruck führt. Internetanschluss ist versprochen, funktionierte aber nicht.

Close to main roads ideal for touring.

Please note this guest house is about to change hands so cannot guarantee things will be the same. We had a comfortable room and a choice of breakfasts. Off road parking. Pleasant staff.

Lovely

Stayed at the guest house as was in the area for a dog grooming competition.The lady who welcomed us was so nice and friendly, she was really happy to meet the dogs that were staying with us (charlie and teddy). The room was lovely and warm, nice and clean. In the morning the lovely lady made us a really good breakfast too.. I hope to stay again next year ❤
