Owners and Staff were really friendly and helpful. This is perfect stay for a short stop over to visit the caves and waterfalls. Lovely area. Family room really good value.
Clean, well maintained room. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with generous sized portions. The beds were very comfortable and all 3 of us slept well.
Cracking place to stay, biker friendly.
One of tbe most genuine warmest welcome 's you will ever receive. I recommend eatinh here to awsome food and service. I will happily stay here again.
Very clean in every area of the building including the pub!
Staff are friendly, helping you with anything you need.
Felt very welcome for the time we were there.
Dog friendly and everyone in there loved having ours in there.
The hotel is very easy to find - located on the road. Tesco fuel station is located quite near the hotel and there is also a convenience store nearby. Sufficient parking was available, both at the front and rear. The staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. Food was amazing, with large portions. The four waterfalls are just a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

Ok room for what it is
The room was clean and food from pub was ok, however the manager had a cold and he was literally coughing over our food and drinks....
This was our first stay at The Lamb & Flag whilst visiting family in Neath. Overall, it was a good one - parking on site, large garden, good evening meal (huge portion sizes!). We had a friendly welcome, the room was clean and a good size with complimentary water, a kettle and condiments. The bathroom was clean with a shower cubicle (very low water pressure though) and there were a selection of toiletries. It was a pleasant, comfortable night's sleep - but would recommend getting black out blinds as we were woken early as it was so bright and found it hard to get back to sleep - then we missed breakfast as we didn't get downstairs until 9.55am and chef was preparing for their Sunday carvery. We were offered bacon sandwiches and coffee. Overall, we would recommend and would come back.
Terrible stay, loud music until late at night from the pub below, very close to a main road and there were motorbikes racing up and down the road (no suitable sound proofing in the room).
Worse than the above, we had booked for 2 nights, decided it was best with the experience to cancel the 2nd night and stay somewhere else. Called the hotel on the morning to advise them of this and verbally agreed at that time that a refund would be given for that night. A week later no refund arrived, called the hotel to be told that they wouldn't give a refund.
Terrible customer service, certainly would not book here again as no chance of a good nights sleep and dis-honest staff going back on a promise of a refund.

Liked: Room comfort
Friendly but a little shabby.
A little slow on service, room, bar and meals.
A lot of things not available on the menu.
Lovely little pub, staff were friendly and accomodating, we had an evening meal which was beautiful and then the breakfast was out of this world, absolutely massove portions for the price. Lovely clean rooms, comfy bed and great walks nearby to the waterfalls
Lovely place, spotlessly clean. Good parking and good WIFI. Friendly staff and a nice bar. Have to add that because i was leaving before breakfast started, they made me a really nice packed lunch. What an excellent level of service. I will definitely be be back
Very warm welcome from the staff, room was lovely and spacious the bed was extremely comfortable qnd the breakfast was delicious would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if im in that area again
Welcoming and friendly.
Huge and quiet, spotlessly clean room with comfy beds.
Thoughtful member of staff offered to make takeaway bacon sandwiches instead of breakfast there.
