「Traveled with my family to Halkidiki and stayed at Atherion. It was wonderful because we are a family of five and they were able to accommodate us in one room. We have found that many places require us to book two rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful and check in was easy. Mr. Panos showed us to our room on the second floor. 「Sad to say the hotel stay was substandard. We booked two nights hoping for a solid 4 star hotel as advertised. We got a room and noticed some mold on the AC. When we asked to leave and get our money back, we were refused. We deiced to stay. Once we looked closer the mold turned out to be much worse than originally thought. 「Beautiful new rooms and great beach location. The payment for the chairs is too much given the cost already paid to the resort. In a beach club you can use that $15-40 euro towards food/drink consumption. Here you pay just to sit. We only sat once and then went to Lago beach club. The staff at the bar near the beach were great.」
