"Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed there for a recent trip visiting friends in Powell River. The place was clean and had plenty of parking. The best features was the marina & ocean view from our room's balcony, and also how quiet and secluded the place felt vs other hotels in the hearth of the town center. Can't really comment on the amenities because we didn't use much of them. I thought the liquor store was quite nice with a great selection. I hear the distillery and restaurant are good as well but we didn't get a chance to use them."

"We loved these cabins. They were super comfortable and we sat on the deck in the early morning and afternoons and watched the golfers. I would definitely make this my first choice next time we are in Courtenay. I recommend you get one that backs onto the golf course."

"Our 2 night stay at the Courtenay Coast Hotel was great. First, my wife requested the 2nd floor and they accommodated the request. The room had a comfortable King Bed, modern shower and was new and comfortable. The hotel had a partially heated pool we used one evening and hotel was just a few minutes away from the theatre, so we saw a movie one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, my wife and I very happy with our room and the hotel. I highly recommend staying here. David C."

"Our stay was amazing and we plan to return! The Resort offers clean, comfortable accommodations at an affordable rate. The atmosphere at the 101 Bar + Grill is relaxed and friendly, with several craft beer selections on tap, excellent cocktails, great menu -- everything was fresh and delicious. The staff are exceptional, from Rich who greeted us upon our arrival to Crystal and the entire crew at the pub, thank you for the incredible service."
