「It was a great inn to spend our 50th anniversary! Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful giving us tips on places to visit and explore. The breakfasts were amazing. We came as guests and left as friends!」

「Our room was not clean. The chlorine smell was SO strong it burned your eyes the moment you walked in. The staff was rude, with a smile. Spend more money and go somewhere else. Try further if you’re going to spooky nook.」

「Just the cutest place to stay. The room was perfect, a large bathroom a small twin bed room between the bed and the bathroom, that you can put your luggage on. A wonderfully kept old manor. Breakfast was lovely, met some great people including the owner. Could not have been better!」

「I stayed 3 nights. I had to calm and request wash clothes for the bathroom as there were none in the room at time of arrival. The next morning I left around 10:00 am and came back late and found my room hadn’t been cleaned/made up, not a huge deal but I had to request coffee for the next morning. The next day I again had to request coffee as it had not been restocked and from what I remember I only had my room visited by the made once during my stay and I did not put the “enjoying the room”...

「Arrived on Friday for a 2 night stay. Both beds had stained blankets. The chair in the room was stained kinda look like someone was murdered in it. Went to the desk and they offered me new sheets that it. And just handed them to me. Didn’t ask to see the room or nothing. Offered a full clean service in the morning. We left at 8am togo to a basketball tournament near by. Returning at 3pm to the room in the same condition. The only compliment i have is the girl working the breakfast was cleaning...

「Their website specifically states, “Special arrangements can be made in advance if notified before arrival”. However, the owners were absolutely non-accommodating for a very reasonable request when notified three weeks in advance.」

「The room was absolutely filthy. There was hair on the shower walls and dirty wash clothes laying on top of the shower. There were 2 bugs on the wall as soon as I walked in. The blanket was disgusting and dirty. The TV was broken. The plates were wet and dirty that were "clean" in the drawer. It smelled like dog and smoke. It was an awful experience and I will never be staying there again.」

「I have stayed at this property before in the past(2025). They are currently putting a huge addition on, so I get that there’s a lot of dust. But the tops of all the furniture were covered in dust. Clearly the housekeepers didn’t wipe anything down! Not to mention there wasn’t any parking. I hope that next year 2027, they are cleaner. I like the location from spooky nook.」
