Mint House provides all the benefits of an apartment at a hotel price. The rooms include a kitchen and even a washer/dryer, so for the first time in my life, I arrived back home without having any laundry to do. The staff bends over backwards to help with anything, and Lala was especially helpful in helping me fill out the paperwork, when their welcome message landed in my junk mail. The fun part of Nashville is just a short walk away: Take a right out of the hotel, a left on Union Street, then take a right at 5th Street or below and follow the music.
One small caveat, though: I'm over 70 years old, and I struggled to get out of the low platform bed every morning. And taking a shower was a bit treacherous: There's a very high-stepping bathtub and absolutely nothing to hold onto once you're under the shower, not even a towel rack. They told me that accessible rooms are available, so if you're old or have mobility issues, I'd suggest contacting the hotel for one of those rooms.
