「We arrived around 7PM to a sign with a phone number which we could not connect to. We had to wait around for 20-30 minutes before someone else arrived who was able to help us connect. Then it took another 10-15 minutes before the clerk arrived to check us in. The hotel room was just okay. Nothing special.」

「We received a wonderfully warm welcome from staff pursuing the highest standards of customer care and engagement. The Hotel la Prison is part boutique hotel, part immersive cultural experience, part modern art gallery. And the sum of the parts is a unique hotel experience. Really enjoyed the quality of the breakfast, even if range limited (curated!), in the attached bistro and the ambition in the evening meal we had in the same location. 」

「The hotel is within spitting distance of the train station, around the corner from a small Roman ruins site and walkable to the town's main sites. In other words, perfect location when traveling by train. Super clean room and great a/c. Not a fancy hotel, but perfect for the price and location.」
