Beautiful and quiet stay. We greatly appreciate the kindness and hospitality from all the staff. We love how convenient this location is to the train station (Nara), to the shopping strip filled with restaurants, and to the Deer Park. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Room has basic amenities and is in older condition. Public bath is small for 3 people to use at a time. Location inside the shopping street and next to train station is very convenient. Also walkable to Nara Park and Todaiji.
Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, Ryokan is within walking distance of Nara park, plenty of dining options nearby, and it's located right outside of the train station.
The Ryokan is great! It's very quiet and easy to relax. The service is very good, I don't speak much Japanese but they made sure I was taken care of. The onsen is very nice. The restaurant is amazing, they have high quality beef and also the best dessert - kintoki!!! I can't wait to stay here again!

Excellent location close to Kintetsu Nara Station and Nara Park. The room was really nice and the futons were super comfortable. Room amenities were nice.
The only complain was a weird smell coming from the room’s private bathroom.
Situated so close to the Kintetsu Nara station, and the middle of the shopping mall, so you can get anything you like without being wet. They have a nice public bath as well. My skin was so smooth after having a dip, and nobody else was using it! Very cost effective place to stay.😊😊
Very good location, and since the rain was pouring down when we arrived, the fact that the accomodation is under one of the streets with roof, meant we could change clothes and the walk with dry clothes to find dinner. The room was cozy and we slept like puppies :-)

Close to everything!
This hotel was really in the best location. In the middle of all the restaurants and the train station etc. We had already stayed at another ryokan so we didn't take advantage of the other amenities that the ryokan offers apart from sleeping on cozy futons. This is a slightly older hotel, but it is suitable when it is a ryokan. However, there was only one electrical outlet in the entire room and you could hear quite clearly what was going on out in the corridor. Closing the sliding door to the bedroom helped a bit but it didn't take it all away, which was a little difficult for us. The staff was super friendly and very good at English!
