This was a simply magnificent Hotel. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the service was exceptional. The breakfast was superb and the roof top terrace amazing.

The hotel and room where nice and spacious, but we got a room with shared toilet which was not clear before booking. They made up for it offering a compensation, but still USD 200 for a shared toilet room sounds excessive

観光地のど真ん中でロケーションは抜群です。 24時間無料サービス券を頂けるとのことで、チェックアウト後も駐車可能で、翌日は安心してならまち散策を満喫できました。 接客はみなさん素敵な笑顔で丁寧に対応してくださり、とても良い思い出になりました。 室内露天風呂から眺める猿沢池はとても良い景色で、頭寒足熱で最高の温泉気分。味わえました。 ありがとうございました！

My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable stay at Sarusawaike Yoshidaya in Nara. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was unmatched. We were greeted by Takada, who immediately offered us a beverage and made us feel genuinely welcome. He went above and beyond for us throughout our stay, including calling multiple local restaurants to secure us a dinner reservation at a spot loved by locals. Special shout-out to Takada for his warmth, professionalism, and incredible service. He truly made our stay exceptional. After spending two weeks in Japan and staying at five different hotels, this was the one that truly stood out. The private onsen experience was amazing, the rooms were spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The sunset view of the pond from our room was absolutely unforgettable. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced customer service this thoughtful and attentive in my life. We’ll be recommending Sarusawaike Yoshidaya to anyone visiting Nara.

清潔感のある広い部屋でゆっくり出来ました。スタッフの方は皆さん感じが良いですが、夜浴室に忘れ物をした際に届けてくださったスタッフさんには特に感謝しています。 奈良博に近いホテルで見つけたのですが、とても良い印象だったのでまた次に奈良で泊まるときは考えたいです。

Great Japanese experience

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Great location. Would stay here again. Breakfast was beautifully payed out. Very Japanese - some was yummy but not every dish was my taste. But that’s just different cultures. Overall a lovely stay.

Lohnenswert!, Sehr günstig gelegen, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Nara zu Fuß zu erreichen. Außergewöhnlich zuvorkommender Service (ich erhielt auf Wunsch ein "Western Breakfast", was nicht selbstverständlich ist); Gute Zimmer, mit Blick auf den Pond; Das Onsen ist ein wenig klein, (leider auch nur male/female getrennt); Kostenloses Parken 100 m entfernt vom Hotel.

子どもの受験に付き添って宿泊しました。早い時間にチェックインしたため、眺望のよいお部屋に通していただきました。お部屋の中は清潔でくつろげます。予約なしで入れる貸し切り風呂も利用させていただき、隣接の興福寺・五重塔を眺めながらリラックスできました。 一つだけ難点をあげるとすれば、お部屋のお手洗いで水を流す際の流水音が大きいことです。それがやや長時間続くのが気になりました。 一泊でしたが気持ちよく滞在させていただきましてありがとうございました。
