Lovely stay! The rooms are in an old palace, with very high ceilings and, so, an airy feel. The staff were most accommodating and helpful. A pleasure all round. And Naples is amazing!

The property is in a great location right at the edge of the historical centre. It's walking distance to a lot of the main sites and lots of bars/restaurants. The room was clean and quite large, generally very quiet too as the property is accessed by going through a courtyard as opposed to directly facing the street. There's a small breakfast included which is in a bar across the street.

This property is in a perfect location. It is walking distance to the old city, stores and restaurants. We were able to sign up for a food tour that started about one block from the B & B. The breakfast, coffee, juice and a dessert was across the street in a small coffee bar and was included with the stay. The elevator is small, but there are stairs if you are like me and don't like elevators. The staff was friendly, and I felt that I was an actual "resident" of Naples after being at this property with my wife for 5 days.

We stayed at La Smorfia for three nights and absolutely loved the place. The rooms were clean and nice and the hosts were really helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants and other things in the neighbourhood. The area is easily walkable, with lots of interesting places nearby and a metro station is also close. We would definitely like to visit again.

Great B&B in the heart of Naples

I was very lucky, the place is spotless, well decorated, very fresh. Antonella and Francesco were very attentive and helpful. The location is perfect in the heart of town but in a quiet area, you can walk to nice restaurants and bars. The metro is also super close by.

Things to note: Elevator is accessible with a fee, The bathroom shower needed some upgrading and was fairly small, there isnt someone at the front desk at all times (some solo travelers may book hotels expecting to have someone present, just an fyi that it isnt the case here). This is a lovely, well-managed B&B. The staff was welcoming and informative. The rooms were clean and had all amenities you might need including a fridge and coffee setup. It’s close to a great restaurant Re Lazzarone and includes breakfast at Karmacore which was also great. It’s on the third floor of a very old building that has a lift.

Unfortunately one of the three rooms (three of us each with our own room) did not have working AC and it was hot so that was not great. Also, the elevator broke so we had to drag our bags down three flights of stairs. The elevator was very sketchy and you had to use coins to use it. The staff seemed nice but did not help to take bags down, was not able to fix the AC and we requested a taxi pick up and they were not able to do this successfully. It was quiet, clean and bed comfortable. I am mixed on whether I would refer anyone though.

Convienient and clean

This is a great place to stay a night or two. Very clean and spacious room. Antonella was amazing at check-in and provided some great recommendations and even gave me her number in case I had any other questions. The location is close to Spaccanapoli which was the main highlight of our visit. I wouldn’t recommend driving here as the streets are INSANE and the parking lot nearby charged us 40€ for less than 24 hours.
