This property is a must if you’re looking to stay in the historical center of Naples. Food across the street as well as walkable to many cathedrals and historical sites. And the best part is that the noise from the hectic streets of Naples is not heard inside your room! 5/5 stars all the way! Beautiful furnishings inside the room as well!

The listing says it has parking and laundry. But it does not. If you list amenities, people expect those to be in the property, not a separate business, 20 minutes away. The area is sketchy and i felt unsafe at night. We asked for extra blankets and they confirmed but they were never brought to us. This would be 1 star but the person making breakfast was very friendly.

Perfect stay in Naples historic area

Classy and chic rooms with comfy big bed and great shower. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely bar and courtyard area to relax in. Perfect location right in the heart of the old town and just minutes from the stunning Duomo cathedral and seconds from the lively old town streets. Plenty of places to eat and drink in touching distance. Our host was fantastic, very informative and helpful throughout our stay - including organising a fixed price taxi for us. Would recommend as the perfect base to explore the lovely city of Naples.

BB Casamatta is a great location in Piazza Navona close to many sites including Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Vatican City. There are many good restaurants, bars, shopping nearby. The best part is the taxi stand is conveniently located 2 minutes away. Subway station is also nearby if needed.

The caretaker owner is very good at communicating. He already knows this, but there was an issue with the air conditioning and it did not get resolved, but there was one room left so we were invited to move there if we wanted to. Because the heat was unbearable, we decided to try the other room… the air conditioning in the beginning didn’t seem to work but in the morning when we woke up, the room was a little bit cooler downstairs. Because our room was up in the loft, the air conditioner really didn’t help us.

We stayed at BB Casamatta 2 times and both stays were exceptional. The location is perfect- very central but very peaceful and tranquil. The lovely rooms are modern, well thought out and very comfortable (Mai tai first time- small but very cosy, and cosmopolitan the second time- relaxing, much larger and super comfortable) . On top of that everyone was super friendly and helpful and massimilano went out of his was to help; thankyou Massimilano, Ida and team - we hope to come back one day

Inconspicuous outside, hidden gem on the inside. This is a lovely, modern and well, thought out B&B. The host was lovely and the breakfast simple, good quality and plentiful. Comfy bed and right in the historic centre of the city. It was surprisingly quiet considering the hustle and bustle of the area. I would stay there again.

Beautifully decorated rooms and ours had a balcony. Convenient location for restaurants and to get a taxi to the airport. Helpful host who arranged a very early breakfast for us on our date of departure and also booked a taxi at a good rate for us which was very much appreciated.

Quiet and peaceful in the heart of Naples

Absolutely wonderful hotel perfectly situated in Naples. My room - Martini - was a good size, perfectly clean and modern; and completely insulated from the noise of the city streets. The breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace. Very highly recommended. When I am back in Naples, I will be staying here again.

Very sweet bnb in the middle of Naples. Not ideal for elderly or disabled because of the stairs and moving luggage up and down. Our host was very kind and did his best to prepare us before our arrival in our rental car (not recommended to drive to Naples interior).

It was a large clean apartment and the cleaning/morning breakfast staff were very nice and helpful. I guess where they could improve would be much greater flexibility dealing with guest requirements. For example, provide easier means of communication post 1pm, when staff apparently leave the premises for the remainder of the day (none of this was communicated orginally upon check-in). Also, if breakfast in the morning is difficult to attend due to early morning tour commitments, greater flexibility with providing a small breakfast hamper replacement to the room. Don't just tell the guest you must inform us by 1 pm the previous day or it is too late to arrange anything for you. Most guests aren't even aware of the 1pm arrangement. The accommodation felt like it was largely operated by remote control by the owner/manager. A little more hands on management would be better and more helpful for guests. The premises itself was very nice inside and spacious - however a very long haul of luggage up a multi-floor staircase was a bit if a hard slog.

This property is just amazing. Don’t mind the old building because once you are inside Casamatta you feel you are in a modern and stylish world. The breakfast terrace is an oasis and their coffee is amazing. Not only this property is incredibly clean, convenient and excellent but the owners and staff are beyond incredible. The day we were leaving Napoli there were no taxis due to an unexpected taxi drivers strike. Massimiliao kindly drove our big suitcase on his motorcycle to the rent a car place were we we’re heading so we did not have to haul it. Not everyone does that. We had a great time at Casamatta and we are extremely grateful. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
