Could have been better with a few minor updates.

It was difficult to find. The location was far from most sight-seeing activities so the bus is required to get anywhere but buses are jammed pack. The building is really old and several flights of stairs. This is a shared apartment. We can hear neighbors talking since the adjoining door is not sealed. Laundry machines were broken but we booked this location hoping to do laundry. Kitchen had no pots or pans and no cleaning soap. The receptionist was really nice and a fridge in the room was a plus.

POURRI

Entrer dans un hall sale, le gite se trouve au troisième étage d'un bâtiment vétuste. Le gérant empoche la taxe de séjour sans fournir un justificatif. Le petit déjeuner reste très moyen avec jus de fruit chaud, viennoiserie achetée dans une épicerie du coin juste sortie du paquet ( elles sont passées au micro onde pour les ramollir un peu) . Je déconseille amplement cet hébergement....j' oubliai une clim réglée a 16° la chambre au dessus des 25 au bout de 6 heures de fonctionnement.. Merci à hôtels.com de faire abstraction de faire les photos de la cour intérieure. Que du plaisir pour les yeux sur les gravats et le vis à vis.

Good deal and location excellent for daily trips

This B &B is oasis of quiet in the middle of run down Napoli. It’s very clean. We were here 5 nights with children. It’s conveniently located 3 minutes walk from Porta Nolana train station where you take Circumvesuviana to Herculaneum, Pompei and Sorrento. You can not hear any noise from street and A/C is working very well. WiFi is very fast. Breakfast was perfect for our family- hard boiled eggs, cereal, sweet rolls, Nutella and very good coffee. We were happy with our stay! Other travelers mentioned the area is run down; however there was presence of police and army every day so it felt not as bad. Expensive hotels are 3 minutes walk in Garibaldi but they are in the same area as this B & B. So book with Bonapace so you can save your money! Inside is beautiful and spacious. At least our room for 4 was huge and had fridge in it.

Die Zimmer und das Personal waren sehr nett. Es ist sauber, alle geben sich mühe und sind sehr zuvorkommend. Da wir uns nur zum Schlafen und zum Frühstück aufgehalten haben, kann man nichts gegen Einwenden. Die Lage ist nicht die beste aber dafür zentral. Wer also, so wie wir für 1 Woche Sightseeingtour macht, dem würde das Hotel reichen.

The property initially took us some time to find - only a small plaque next to a gateway shows where it is. Don't be fooled by the rundown appearance of the area as the propery itself is decorated to a high standard. Our family room was clean and comfortable. There was a homely feel and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stay in Napoli

The best part of this location was its proximity to the train/metro station. The area was very dingy and run down. One of the worst beds we have slept in. Internet was weak and sporadic. Room did not give the perception of cleanliness. You had to be Houdini to get into the shower. Breakfast was sparse.

Basic accomodation close to central station

The hotel is close to the train station, which was the reason I chose it, because I only had one day in Naples, and had a train to catch the next morning. The airport shuttle also goes to the train station, so this hotel was very convenient. This is a basic and cheap place to stay, don't expect anything fancy. The area around the central station is a bit shady, so if you are a nervous traveller I suggest you find another area to stay. That said, I didn't have any unpleasant things happen to me while I was staying in the area. The room and the hotel is just fine. Clean and big rooms. The best part about my stay was the guy working the reception and the kitchen, really nice guy from Sri Lanka. The entrance to the B&B is hard to find, because they only have a super tiny blue and yellow sign on a gate into what looks like a regular tenant building. There is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. I was a bit nervous when I was walking up the hotel door, wondering what I had gotten myself into, but when I rang the doorbell and was greeted by the nice receptionist, and got to see the inside of the hotel, I was relieved. All in all, a great and practical stay if you're just passing through Naples.
