Outstanding view of the building, and the view on the balcony is great! Rooms a spacious bathroom was great, didnt use jacuzzi but would be great, and not far from town

We had a ground floor room looking out to the ocean. The room and bathroom were large and clean as were the kitchen utensils. Would recommend.

Ideal location to park for free overnight in the hotel parking lot across the street from the waves and beach. Glorious views! Power shower. Kitchen with fridge / freezer plus free milk carton and free bottle of orange juice.

Gorgeous views!! The spacious room overlooks Hawke’s Bay and has a spa bath and balcony too! It was very clean as well! Wish we would have stayed longer here it was so nice!

The property is looking a little shabby - dead plants in pots etc, a lack of general maintenance & cleaning is evident. I also thought it was very expensive.

Nice, neat hotel
Lovely neat hotel, room was spacious with a surprisingly comfortable bed. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the CBD which is a nice stroll along the waterfront. Lovely place to stay.

Our room was clean and roomy but could use a bit of work. The walls have a few dings and damage, some of the closet doors fall off the track, the air conditioner in the main bedroom did not work, it just blows out hot air. The property is nice overall and a nice walk to beach and shopping.

The room was quite large and the ocean view was outstanding. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to dinner, the parks, the main street and the aquarium. We had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

Motor inn is close to beach and acquarium and reasonable walk into downtown. Space could use some maintenance (eg, blind did not work properly so had to use a towel to block light and views from outside)

One of the best hotels which I have stayed at in NZ. Staff were great. Rooms were clean. View of Marine Parade was exceptional. Spa bath was an great extra.

Nice location
Good location and nice spacious rooms. Having the balcony is great but it entices people to stay out to all hours drinking and and loud music so didn’t get a lot of sleep. Beds are bouncy so if partner moves it shakes the whole bed, otherwise a nice stay

Our room was very clean and quiet after the traffic slowed by about 10:00. Close enough to the ocean we could hear the waves at night. Staff were great. Stayed two nights and could have stayed longer
