This was on our way to Badulla by train. It's the most scenic rail ride in Sri Lanka. There are heaps of tunnels all the way. Travelers can book the observation deck which gives the panoramic view of the hill country. Nearly, there are 6 waterfalls on the way to Badulla except the thousands of seasonal cascades. Absolutely, it's worth to have a journey in this scenic track.

Minder om en alpehytte. Vi havde en sød karnap hvor vi elskede at sidde. Den bedste bruser i Sri Lanka; masser af varmt vand. Rent.Varme-ovn. Kæmpe stor morgenmad . I gå-afstand til centrum. Utrolig søde mennesker i huset! De er meget gæstfri og hjælpsomme/ servicemindede.

The hotel is located up the hill, 4km hilly drive to the main road. Good thing is it's very secluded, all quiet and tranquil in the middle of some small villages and tea farms. Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Atmosphäre, die das Personal kreiert war äußerst familiär und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich. Auch die Umgebung war sehr ruhig und idyllisch, da sie von Teeplantagen umgeben ist.

Nice and different accommodation

Nice beds, nice house with kitchen. Amazing service and nice breakfast from staff🙏 It was more cold in July than we expected - our bad, and the distance to town made it more complicated to eat in town. Nice restaurants in town! Amazing view, clouds coming in around the mountain and town.
