Worst experience, ever!

My stay at Nanjing Westin was the worst in my life so far. Went for breakfast around 9:45 AM, waitress guided me to a table for two, but right after I sat down, a man came and told me it’s his table. I had to find a waitress to get me another table, unfortunately tables were nearly full until i saw 4-5 guests about to leave, but there’s a kid so foods were all over the place near the baby seat. I asked the waitress to clean the table and floor so that i can get seated, it took maybe 5 minutes for them start doing the cleaning and they seemed not be aware of the inconvenience they brought to customer. When my friend came and found the table is still not ready, we started looking for other table and there were two guests about to leave, so we finally got seated. Apart from the poor experience during breakfast, the sink in the room was not clean at all, since I was pretty tired, i decided not to argue with the hotel which i now think i should have done it. When i checked out, i told front desk what i have been through and she was very sorry about it. She offered me free afternoon tea or buffet dinner which is kind, but i didn’t want to go the hotel again.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are starting to show a bit of wear, but not a dealbreaker. Conveniently located next to the XuanWu subway station (2min walk) that will connect you to every major tourist attraction in the area. Would highly recommend to anyone going through Nanjing!
