Motel 168 Nanjing hotels

"Hotel is a bit older, it is starting to show its age scratched furniture, wear spots on carpets, etc. You can tell this was a premier property, just needs to be modernized a bit. I love the architecture inside. Staff were very attentive and welcoming especially to a westerner. I do speak Chinese so the staff really seemed eager to assist me on any of my needs. "

"My stay at the Ritz Carlton Nanjing was very nice. The staff was friendly and the amenities were nice. There was some wear and tear in my hotel suite which was kinda surprising to me. I would think they would replace or fix the furniture in the rooms that were worn. My room was nicely decorated for my birthday with a small cake and rose petals. There was also a nicely written card. The food and drinks in the Executive Lounge were deliciously. Especially the lamb chops that were freshly prepared. My main disappointment was not being able to have breakfast in the main dining area due to it being full and I had to go have breakfast in the Executive Lounge where the breakfast items are very limited. "

"Room WiFi was really bad. Guaranteed non smoking floor but cigarettes smell was very strong. Noisy floor with music students. Won’t recommend to friends nor stay again."

"The first room we checked in had very strong chemical smell and even the electrician who came to fix the bathroom room power noticed the smell. We changed to another room but the bathroom had faucet leaking. The room was in poor condition. Breakfast quality was not good and the staffs not well trained. This hotel is lack of management. the only reason I gave it 2 stars is the great location. "
