「Located by this plaza not too far away from the Haiphong train station and other stores. The room, with no window, was very clean and quiet, with a separate enclosure for the bathroom. 「Night staff guy was rude. I arrived alone and he ignored me. My female Vietnamese friend then arrived and I couldn’t get rid of the guy. But big problem was he told my friend that he knew a good restaurant that is crowded with locals and they would send a free car for us. 「To clear up the contradictory reviews.
This hotel has no pool, the one in the picture is the private home next door. This is also no airport shuttle. But it takes less than 10min to get there by Grab Cab.
The staff was very friendly, did use my translate app. But was not a problem or a hassle and was surprised I didn’t need to use it more this trip.

「Check-in is painful (get to the door and phone them on WhatsApp, if you have data), the room wasn't very clean (hair throughout and dried urine on toilet), there was no soap, no toilet paper (at all), and a kettle with tea but no coffee. The owners were responsive and brought supplies. There is no door on the bathroom and a bath with a wand but no shower.」
