Top place for all your Nairobi ttd- things to do!

I truly love staying at Chester House -it is my home away from home! The place is clean, staff is friendly, & professional & go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as you want it to be! CH is perfectly situated close to everything -highway, local transport, walking distance to all CBD places one needs -supermarkets, government/business offices, church, gym, clubs, restaurants etc you name it & Chester is close to it!

Centralt hotel til god pris

Meget centralt hotel, god udsigt og stor altan. Men det trænger til en opdatering, dette er dog afspejlet i prisen.

Great location and many friendly staff members

Great location in the CBD, I walked to the city market, KICC, and lots of restaurants. The staff at breakfast were friendly and actually called me one morning when they didn’t see me so as to check on me. Security guards were helpful and I felt safe as a solo traveller. About 30 minutes to Kenyatta airport and many attractions

The views from my room showed how beautiful the area is with nearby parks and soaring hawks, egrets and swallows nearby. The nearby streets require you pay attention to your surroundings.

The pool was lovely. The room was lovely. Simple and everything worked - microwave, fridge, etc. Easy check in and helpful and friendly staff. Be careful walking the ‘hood. Stay alert and it is all good.

Alles in allem o. K. um einen Zwischenstop einzulegen.

I upgraded to the apartment over the studio for cheaper. Normal rates were $79 but I booked it for less. Arrived at 9pm and checked out by 11am (supposedly 10am is their normal check out time). It’s very walkable so on Sunday night, it looked dead. At 9am Monday morning, the whole area was popping. So the location is great. The room is average for Kenya and better than average bc the WiFi worked very well. Hot water? The desk told me to turn it on so it is strange by American standards but Kenya seems quite common. I did not use the kitchen or tv but the 1 bedroom apartment is plenty for 1-3 ppl unless you’re tall. The couch could barely fit me at 5’7 who napped for an hour. Overall, the bathroom is dated from the 1980s but it’s all good. I felt safe and the location is on point — I walked to an Ethiopian place with Afghan food (and halal goods) with so many local shops and a park nearby (5-15 minutes away).

The rooms are clean, the staff were friendly. I struggled with food but resturant staff were nice and provided me some options. The hotel is located in the heart of the city with shops and nice restaurants around. Banks and where to buy SIM cards are within walking distance.
