「very nice hotel！」

「A fantastic stay at Glen Lyon Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful Skye room, with a lovely view of the garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The fresh milk for tea in the room was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent too. Don't miss Helen's delicious avocado toast and homemade porridge! The location is perfect, with restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance, and...

「The hotel is a wonderful old school hotel with classic wonderful Scottish service. In a word “excellent”!」

「I checked in about 7:00pm and my Booked room had been given to another guest. I was given the “last” room - a twin with basin in the room (tells you how outdated it was). Website also clearly states bar is open till 12 for guests. By the time I picked my partner up from Inverness airport and got back to hotel about 11:20pm (both looking forward to a “refreshment” after her delayed flight) everything was closed down for the night. Poor accommodation Poor service from staff giving a specified...

「The room was acceptable, the restaurant was fine, and most of the staff were pleasant (including the owner). I was told that English currency was not available. And while it may have the same value as English currency, it is not readily accepted in other parts of the UK or in overseas territories. I had a bit of a disagreement over...

「Friendly and welcoming」

「Everything's here surprised me! Strongly recommend!」

「Wonderful house. I have had many visits to Nairn over the years and this is my #1 for Accommodation. Whole house was immaculate. Location right in the heart of everything yet peaceful right beside the river. Very generous welcome pack too. We booked again for 2026 as soon as we arrived. 」

「The property itself is lovely, however the details were misrepresented. In several spots, it is stated as a four bedroom, but there is only 3. Future guests be aware.」

「Spectacular boutique hotel in a stunning location. Staff were great, as was the food!」

「One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The hospitality is bar none and the experience is ethereal. You can almost image the days leading up to the battle of 1746 unfold walking through the halls and the grounds. Lots of delightful surprises I won't spoil that make the experience unique and special from music, to gardens, to the hospitality.」
