Great place, some minor issues

Had a great time. The house fundamentals are great. House is older but had had a bit of a refresh. Minor issues included non-working lamps, broken drawer in kitchen, and non-functioning electrical outlet (initially the wifi would not work—had to plug the router into a different outlet). Went in winter but the beach access is great. Beach view from the master bedroom, view from the main level is blocked by a sand berm.

Great place in a convenient location

Great place in a convenient location. Very spacious rooms and clean. Walk to the beach is really nice and great outdoor showers to clean off before returning back to our place. Convenient check in and check out process. Not having to worry about keys was really nice. Grocery store and restaurants were a short drive away. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the beds were not very comfortable. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Good location that's it

Our unit A3 was not clean upon arrival. The kitchen cabinets were full of mold,the drawers were filled with crumbs, air registers were filthy, bedspreads were not washed, dusty furniture not from a week or two but months. The only good thing was location. Staff not helpful in rectifying problem. Will not be back to a Kees property. Inexcusable.

Highly Recommended, I would stay again

The room was outstanding and the entire family was pleased. Check in/out was simple with key code provided via email and never having to wait at a counter. The rooms were clean with board games, DVDs and books provided. Excellent access to the beach and pool. Quick trips to grocery, beverages and local sites. Easy on-site parking. The town is well worth a visit but local restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Save your time/money and eat in or eat simple. Overall, very nice trip and loved the facilities.

Great place, nice views

We had a wonderful visit. The rooms are laid out so it is very private with their own bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and the amenities were updated. There is a great view from the master bedroom. Great location as well! Grocery stores, restaurants and not far from the lovely Mateo. We even went over to the Alligator Nature Refuge and saw bears! Really really nice beach and just all around great place. The only complaints I have are around staff and cleanliness. The first thing, I tried to cancel my room about a month ahead of my vacation and they wouldn't do it without a hefty penalty, so I made the vacation work. Then when we checked in the fireplace is not active, that wasn't clear in the reservation, big bummer for us as it was cold at nights and we love this atmosphere. Check out at 10 AM STINKS. Also, there was some issues with the cleaning that was unsatisfactory, I mentioned it to the staff, they apologized, expected a bit more. Also, near clarity in checkout process. First of all, 11 AM would be MUCH more kind to the guests and also details on expectations of checkout. This could be a really top notch place to stay, they just need to step it up a bit with staff and it would make a huge difference!

On the beach! and more

We enjoyed having a backyard between us and the pool (although closed for winter) and then onto the beach. Additionally, tennis courts were on site. The location was convenient to the bridge to Manteo, Fresh Market and Food Lion, plus all the conveniences of the main strip. The condo was supplied with videos, games and puzzles, as well as kitchenware and linens. The property managers were not on site, but reached out to us ahead of our visit to ensure questions were answered. The condo was spacious and well-located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Family Wedding

The Condo was perfectly set up for us as we were sharing it with two other couples. Our daughter was married at Jeannett's Pier and we were very close. The rooms were not clean though. Rugs were sandy as if not vacuumed and bathrooms were dirty. Tub in one bedroom had the drain piece broken. And the TV in Master bedroom would not work even after the staff came twice to fix it. They finally gave up on it. The unit needs work. But after we dusted and cleaned we found it to be fine. Just needs maintenance work.

You get what you pay for

The complex was older, but sufficient. Our view of the ocean from our master bedroom deck was lovely. The view of the closed pool from the living room deck was not. The property's management company decided to clear the beach access pathways with no notice and ruined our one beautiful day on the beach. After calling Kees to let them know, they offered us another night at two times what we paid for using Hotels.com. Disappointed with Kees. Guess you get what you pay for.

This should have been stress free!!!!

After a hard time of finding out what condo we were to stay in and then having to get a access code we suggest that you give your clients some info so that they are not stressed out trying to find an agent. Thank goodness to Saga construction for putting us in contact with an agent since their agency was closed.
