The Saihokukan Hotel was bright, spacious and comfortable. It was close to two train stations and many great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here!

Good spot great value

Nice location next to the arcade. You can definitely walk to zenkoji from here. Nice walk up the main road to the temple. Best thing is you also get the benifit of the shop in the arcade walk. Restaurant inside was nice. Hotel at first glance looks good. It inside the rooms look dated and carpets need to be replaced! The showers and amenities are very nice. It’s not old school but if you want modern this is a good alternative. I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel with excellent service

Lovely hotel. We stayed here for a family wedding in Nagano and was very easy to navigate from. Breakfast here was superb! Only one slight niggle was the air conditioning had been switched off as it was October but it was too hot in the room!

Desperately needs renovated

The staff tried very hard to provide exceptional service, but the reality is that this hotel is very tired and desperately needs renovated. The decor and facilities are very dated. It is clean but 20 past due for a makeover. Curtains held together by duct tape say it all

10月の連休明けに利用したせいか、レストランのディナーは貸切状態で、ウェイターのサービスも良く、大満足です。 施設に関しては、部屋の各所に老朽化による壁のひび割れなどありますが、清掃は行き届いており問題ありません。 一つ不満を言えば、コンセントの数が少なく、ベッドサイドにコンセントがあれば良いと思いました。 しかしながら、老舗ホテルでフロントやレストランのサービスも申し分無いので、また利用させていただきます。

南館6階フロアでしたが、廊下からタバコの匂いがして、禁煙ルームにも関わらず部屋の中もタバコの匂いが酷かった。同じフロアに宿泊した友人2名もそれぞれ同じことを言っていたので、過去は喫煙フロアだったのでしょう。気持ち悪くて眠れなかった。そのうえ設備が古くエアコンは3段階しか変えられないため暑かった。暑いし臭いしで、返金してもらいたいくらいです。

レストランから見える庭に癒されます

客室は古いですが、レストランから見える日本庭園やテラスからの緑が気持ち良いです。朝食はビュッフェスタイルでなく、人の行き来がなく、ゆったりできます。ワンドリンクサービスにはりんごジュースなどソフトドリンクの他、ワインも選べます。
