The NH Bussum Jan Tabak is a comfortable and quiet hotel set in a peaceful area. The rooms and facilities are clean, though the decor feels a bit dated. One of the highlights is the calm atmosphere, great for a good night’s sleep and the bed was very comfortable. There is plenty of parking available, which is convenient if you’re traveling by car. The lobby is pleasant, and the piano bar adds a nice touch for a relaxed evening drink. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, especially if you value quiet surroundings and convenience.
Friendly and nice hotel. Bed was a little hard for my liking. Had to get a mattress topper which did not really make a difference but good location and clean, nice breakfast.
This hotel was very easy to find, easy to park (free was even better) and a friendly welcome on checking in. Love the option to not have the room cleaned, bed changed etc, but just the towels changed - excellent idea! And that process is so good - they leave the fresh towels outside the door in a bag and you put used ones back in for them to take away. All hotels should do this. Getting a free drink if you chose no clean was a bonus - thank you!
The room was a good size, bed comfy, good size windows to open for fresh air. The bathroom was good but with the shower over the bath you had to lean in to the back to turn it on, get wet in the process (with not yet warm water), and the shower rose did not stay up. I had to bend down to wet my hair. Yes I could’ve held it, but needed both hands to wash hair and body. Bit of a nuisance.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere in the drinks area. Would definitely stay again but hopefully this review is read and something done about the shower rose for future guests.
Very nice, upscale hotel but more for business travelers.
Very good service and nice rooms. Excellent location. Awesome parking which is so rare in Europe in general.
Room service is sparse. You can go down and order from the restaurant to have the full menu options but you can’t charge it to your room.
The staircase was frightening! Anyone under 12 would easily slip through the railing. I’d be terrified if I had a kid running up and down those stairs!
All in all, a great hotel in a small town outside Amsterdam.
A quiet surprisingly laid back hotel with helpful staff although here again they seemed to have adopted a laid back approach which was a refreshing change from the usual.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Very old rooms and bathrooms for the price paid (200€, without breakfast).
Gorges , Eric and the Team in the restaurant/bar provide a fantastic level of service. I have been staying at this hotel for almost 20 years and it really feels like home from home. Impeccable team! Bravo

Room was not cleaned for 2 days. Floors were not kept clean, water bottle and glasses were not replaced. Bed was hard and uncomfortable
We have been staying on this hotel many times over the past 20 years and have unfortunately seen the quality slowly deteriorating.
The state of the hotel is getting more and more ran down.
The breakfast is okay but is missing vegetarian options.
The restaurant serves okay food, also here lacking vegetarian options

Really poor service
Pretty grumpy staff. Arrived late due to delayed flights. Restaurant closed but wouldn’t give us anything and nothing nearby. Recommend Uber Eats which took 1.5 hours, went back to reception to ask if Uber is relatable. A new member of staff on shift said no we all use a different app but would I like them to make me a sandwich?!? YES!! The bar closes when they like. Second night I asked for a beer at 1030, sorry bar is closed. So I asked why they close early and the answer was ‘we always close at 11’. Yes but it’s 1030? Same happened to another English girl trying to get a drink after me. Perhaps it’s an anti-English thing?! Anyway, overall the staff were plain rude and the room was bang average. No were a 4 star just in the service alone. Will not stay again but unfortunately it’s the hotel my local office recommend. I’ve told them to find other options
