This was the COLDEST room I have ever stayed in. It was already freezing outside.. we walk into the room and it’s freezing. We immediately turned up the thermostat and left it on for hours but the temperature did not change. We actually slept in our winter coats under all of the blankets that night.

Disappointing

Stayed here plenty of times in the past 5 years. This time was extremely disappointing. Room hadnt been vacuumed but smelled of cleaning solution. Chair had a huge stain about 2 feet long. Beds were overly soft and old. Lifted a mattresses and found marijuana in the container bought in Massachusetts. No big deal because its legal in Connecticut but shows how the room hadnt been thoroughly cleaned. Date on the marijuana was beginning of November.

Room had a musty smell but no i didn't say anything at the time also we stayed 2 days they dont provide housekeeping for multi day stays but i did ask for more towels and toilet paper

Towels were ripped. Full size bed was suppose to be Queen plus mattress was terrible. There was a leak coming from the cciling in bathroom. Room smelled like urine.

Good rates for a quick overnight stay

The rates were great, the location is great, the person working the desk was very nice and efficient. The room was spacious and clean and when we put the heat on it warmed the room up quickly. The things that could be improved upon: the pillows were small and 3 to a double bed, we came in the beginning of November and it got cold at night, there were not enough blankets on the bed and the bed spread was very thin. The furniture is older and in need of an upgrade. This room was good for our needs since we came up for a party and really only needed the room for a few hours to sleep in (not vacation in).

They are clean and neat, but property is a bit warn then again they were lower priced than their neighboring properties. It was one night so it was fine. Since it wasn't busy might have been nice to separate out the rooms more we had a noisey neighbor to one side.

Meh…get what you pay for.

Check-in took long. Got to my room and that side of bldg didn’t have lights on so it was super dark. Had to shine my car lights onto bldg to find room. Informed front desk of this. Sheets smelled of mildew/musty. Typical room/experience for this class of motel.

Room smelled cheap Boy Scout camp pillows scratched furniture horrible room will demand a 50% discount from hotels.com and/or Rodeway you advertise a more comfortable room just because the hotel is in Mystic but I feel like it’s located at a run down truck stop

Great stay very clean

Older hotel but pretty well kept up. Rooms and outside areas were spotless. Mattresses not great but for the price was overall a great deal. Very close to all mystic attractions

This place needs a serious upgrade. I wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely not worth the price.

RUN AWAY

Stench of mold slaps you in the face when you open the door. Desk chair ripped, furniture chipped, bed sketchy (those square dollar store pillows with pillowcases tucked behind them). Staff was kind but VERY aware of the awful condition of the place. DO NOT STAY HERE.
