Decent

A nice stay, about a 15-minute walk to town. Great views from the property. If I were to book again I would choose one of the four rooms with direct ocean view for their patio sitting area. The side view is really not an ocean view at all and the hot tub on “your” patio is shared with all guests. You need to arrange for the hot tub to be turned on. Would be nice for the pool area to have an umbrella and provide pool towels.

Amazing experience! So nice and cute suites with amazing seaview and sunset view. Just 8 mins walking from the centre. The owners are so helpful, they organise everything for you (your transfer, car rental). Also a nice surprise was the fact that they have their own catering so we were able to enjoy every meal at the balcony in really economical prices. There are 4 suites with front sea view and pool view and 2 suites with side seaview and private jacuzzi. They offer free parking and concierge services. The place is very peaceful and relaxing!!! Highly recommended !!!! We will come back !!!!

My stay at Casa Tagoo in Mykonos was excellent! The hosts, Alex and his father George were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome! Alex was always readily available upon any requests or questions and made our stay a smooth one. George was also very helpful in providing great hospitality and offered his time and care for transfers and jacuzzi cleaning. This accommodation is definitely worth it! The room was clean, with good air conditioning, hot water etc. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival along with the pool and private jacuzzi. You will not regret booking your stay at Casa Tagoo here in Mykonos! Location is fairly close to Old Port which made transportation to and from the town manageable. Thank you immensely, Alex and George, for hosting a beautiful stay! Until next time!

Honeymoon

There was no reception desk to check in, you needed to find a worker or the owner. I want to preface this that we went off season (late March) so the average temperature was around 60 degrees F (16 degrees C). No heat in the room…… the only heat you can get is from a small plug in heater and so blankets. I booked a superior room with an outdoor hot tub. The hot tub was not hot! The owner said it was a jacuzzi and that’s the “hottest” it could get, mind you it was colder than it was outside! They did not have daily room service unless requested through WhatsApp. The location was nice and the view was nice, don’t get me wrong….. it just wasn’t advertised well, and misleading.

A very misleading 'hotel'

Casa tagoo looked like the perfect hotel for our 4 night getaway, however we found their advertising to be misleading to the point of being incorrect. We arrived late and were picked up by Anna's father, who was more of the face of the establishment (can't call it a hotel). He was lovely and was one of few positives of the trip. We called Anna on the first night as we were not happy, she moved us to a 'Deluxe double suite with balcony and sea view' and mentioned we could only have it for 3 of the 4 nights, we agreed this was fine. Two nights in the shower/toilet flooded the room, we called Anna immediately and were told we had to vacate the room straight away as others were coming that day. This would have been fine if we knew, and we weren't given 15 minutes to get out (and only after we called her - not sure what would have happened if we were out). We then asked if there were any other rooms, only to be ignored for multiple hours and having to message again to get a response. We did not meet Anna and were not impressed with her customer service. To list a few of the inaccuracies we found upon booking the 'superior double suite with side sea view and hot tub': - The private hot tub (also called the kids pool to other guests) was a cold tub of dirty water, with jets that didn't work. (Photos attached) - Mould in the shower, and no extractor fan or bathroom door so our clothes got damp every time we showered - Room was said to have a safe, da

Fantastisch!!! Niet twijfelen meteen boeken. Kamers zijn mooi, modern en schoon. Beschikken over een klein koelkastje, een föhn en strijkijzer. Bedden zijn fijn, de regendouche heerlijk. Qua ruimte, voor twee volwassenen echt groot genoeg je kan je spullen kwijt en er is nog ruimte over. Wij zaten in de kamer met zij zeeaanzicht. Wij vonden dat fijn omdat het rustig ligt, je hebt je eigen bad, en een zitje voor de deur. Wil je echt zeezicht en aan het zwembad dan moet je met boeken even opletten dat je de juiste kamer boekt. De zeezicht kamers hebben ook ruime bankjes met kussens. De service van de familie is echt subliem. Alles werd geregeld en niks was vervelend of gek. Vader kwam ons halen van het vliegveld en bracht ons weer terug tegen een kleine vergoeding. Dat was heel fijn want het vliegveld is druk en er zijn weinig taxi’s. We hebben ook via Alexis een scooter gehuurd, hij regelde alles inclusief ophalen bij de accommodatie. We wilden toch nog een dag langer en ook dat regelde hij binnen vijf minuten voor ons. Ze hebben een ontbijtservice, lunch en diner. Je kan eten bestellen tot laat en dat wordt keurig gebracht. Avond eten was heerlijk en ook het ontbijt was top! Het ligt op een berg dus naar Mykonos stad lopen is hoewel maar 600m wel even intensief, zeker omhoog. Wij hadden een scooter dus dat was fijn. En anders even de tijd nemen. Gratis parkeren bij de accommodatie. Wij snappen de negatieve recensie niet! Het was fantastisch!!!
