Staff is very warm and welcoming. Clean rooms with AC. Facilities are nice and include a pool and gym. Hot breakfast included is a huge plus. The hotel walking distance to Mykonos Town (approximately 10 minutes by foot), however you do have to go up and down a large hill to get to town so if you have mobility issues I would probably skip this one. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay and would visit again!

The hotel’s location is very convenient. The staff were very welcoming, particularly the team serving in the restaurant at breakfast. The breakfast was of good quality and the room was very comfortable. The only two downsides were that the water pressure in the shower was very low, and the pool in the room wasn’t clean, making it impossible to use. Overall, it’s a good option.

Our stay at Axel Beach Mykonos was mixed. The staff was genuinely great, we were welcomed with a drink, and our room was prepared with wine, fresh fruit, and water. Breakfast offered a nice, tasty selection each morning, and the farewell gift of olive oil and soap at check-out was a really sweet gesture. However, two issues significantly detracted from our experience. First, the towels were unacceptable. The supposedly white bath towels looked dingy and had brown stains on them (whether from old makeup or something worse, we didn't want to know), and even after daily housekeeping replaced them, the fresh ones arrived with the exact same stains, which felt quite off-putting. Same with the bedding. Second, it was disappointing that none of the pools were heated, leaving both the main pool and the in-room plunge pools far too cold to comfortably enjoy. While the hospitality was lovely, the gross towel situation is ultimately the main reason our review is so low.

I had a really good time here as a solo traveler. Positives: - Private pool! - Clean apartment with AC, comfy bed, large shower, and fruit and wine - Breakfast selection was high quality and very good - Front desk helped me to book an ATV and airport transfer, and the bar staff were sociable, giving me good recs for things to do - Pool area is relaxing with good people watching Negs: - The gym is functional but very dirty, needing some routine cleaning - The walk into the town center is a little long and kind of dangerous along a narrow road with little space for pedestrians - The food menu by the bar/pool is very expensive for very disappointing portion sizes, particularly skimping out on the proteins (orzo tasted great but there was like no seafood in it, and the chicken club had three slices of bread with just few pieces of shredded chicken) - go eat out instead!

I really enjoyed this property and my room. Hotel was walking distance to center town and to a lot of the restaurants (if you decide to walk, be careful as you will have to walk up and down a lot). The included breakfast was great. Wish the food was a little warmer but it was still good. I will definitely stay here again if I come back.
